A wireless communication device includes an antenna and is used for storage as an electrical conductive body. The antenna includes a first conductor and a second conductor, one or more third conductors, a fourth conductor, and a feeding line. The first conductor and the second conductor face each other in a first axis. The one or more third conductors are located between the first conductor and the second conductor and extend in the first axis. The fourth conductor is connected to the first conductor and the second conductor and extends in the first axis. The feeding line is connected to any one of the third conductors. The first conductor and the second conductor are capacitively coupled to each other via the third conductor. The fourth conductor faces a conductor part of the storage.

Wireless communication device, automatic door, and automatic door system

An information processing apparatus includes a communication interface and a controller. The communication interface receives, from a sensor container, information indicating an orientation of the sensor container. The controller, based on the information indicating the orientation of the sensor container, calculates a calculated value indicating a remaining amount of contents of the sensor container. The controller determines an estimated value of the remaining amount on the basis of the calculated value. The communication interface transmits the estimated value indicating the remaining amount to an external device. When the calculated value indicating the remaining amount decreases by a first predetermined value or more within a predetermined time period, the controller does not perform the determination of the estimated value on the basis of the calculated value.

A base station includes: a wireless communication unit that performs wireless communication with a relay device; a storage that stores information on a reflected wave of a communication channel used to communicate with the relay device; and a controller that: estimates from the information whether a communication channel upon establishing a wireless channel with the relay device is affected by a reflected wave; allocates the communication channel as the wireless channel with the relay device in a case where it is estimated from the information that the communication channel is not affected by the reflected wave; and does not allocate the communication channel as the wireless channel with the relay device in a case where it is estimated from the information that the communication channel is affected by the reflected wave.

Base station and wireless communication method

A communication device and method are disclosed. Transmitted signals are transmitted from antennas. A beam is formed based on known-received signals by controlling a transmission directionality of the antennas. Transmitted power of the transmitted signals is controlled based on a time interval between a reception time during which the known-received signals are received and a transmission time during which the transmitted signals are transmitted.

In an adaptive array terminal, at least one of two antennas (ANT#, ANT#) is a movable antenna. A display unit () of the terminal displays reception levels of, or level difference between, the two antennas. If the request signal indicates that the downlink be prioritized, the execution of a processing of changing a transmission rate of the uplink involving the stoppage of the downlink is cancelled. If the request signal indicates that the uplink be prioritized, the execution of a processing of changing a transmission rate of the downlink involving the stoppage of the uplink is cancelled.

Method of determining transmission rate by controlling adaptive modulation scheme

When there is a connection request to a base station supporting adaptive modulation from a terminal supporting adaptive modulation, the base station measures a D wave level that indicates communication environment of the transmission path. When the measured D wave level is not lower than a threshold value of D wave level at which communication is possible by a modulation method (16QAM) having larger multi-value number, the base station permits allocation of a wireless channel to the terminal. Therefore, even when the modulation method is switched from one having smaller multi-value number (&#x3c0;/4 shift QPSK) to one having larger multi-value number (16QAM) during communication after channel allocation to the terminal, degradation of communication quality due to the communication environment of the transmission path can be prevented.

A slot of a low multiplicity is processed to narrow transmission timing intervals for already-connected users and thereby to make preparation for a new user, and a slot of a high multiplicity is processed to keep the maximum transmission timing intervals for the already-connected users so that the preparation for the new user is not performed. As a result, it is possible to provide the slot prepared for the new user while maximizing the transmission timing intervals. Further, the transmission timing intervals for the already-connected users are kept as large as possible during the traffic channel for preventing the deterioration of characteristics, and the shifting of the transmission timing is performed for the new user during the control channel so that the optimum transmission timing intervals can be achieved when the traffic channel is established. A DSP () executes the processing.

When once determined to be free of any demodulation error by an interference removing unit provided user by user, a replica signal calculated by the interference removing unit is subtracted from an input signal vector, and a calculated user signal is output as it is as a final user signal. When it is determined by the interference removing unit that there is a demodulation error, the user signal is again calculated by the interference removing unit of an interference canceller of a next stage. As subtraction of the replica signal corresponding to the user signal having a demodulation error from the input signal vector is inhibited, precision of the interference wave removal can be improved.

A first reception circuit (SR) separates a signal from a desired terminal among signals from an adaptive array antenna (#to #), based on a reception weight vector calculated in a reception weight vector calculator (). A remodulation circuit () generates a first replica signal from a signal of a demodulated desired wave. A replica generating circuit () multiplies signals from a plurality of antennas by a weight vector for an interfering wave from a second reception circuit (SR), and generates a second replica signal corresponding to a signal from an interfering wave terminal. A reception response vector calculator () derives an impulse response of a propagation path of the signal from the desired terminal, based on the first and second replica signals.

Radio device

A radio equipment separates a signal from a specific terminal among signals from adaptive array antennas, based on a reception weight vector calculated by a reception weight vector calculator. A reception response vector calculator draws out a reception response vector of a propagation path of the signal from the specific terminal. A correlation operation and Doppler frequency estimating circuit calculates a correlation value between reception response vectors of corresponding slots of continuous frames, and estimates a corresponding Doppler frequency based on a correspondence found in advance. A transmission response vector estimator predicts a transmission response vector, by performing an extrapolation process in accordance with the estimated Doppler frequency.

A main control unit in a radio reception apparatus selects from an adaptive array reception mode and a single route reception mode, in accordance with a prescribed condition. When the adaptive array reception mode is selected, the main control unit performs first control to operate a plurality of radio reception units and an adaptive array operational processing unit. When the single route reception mode is selected, the main control unit performs second control, so that one radio reception unit is selected as a first radio reception unit to operate and an operation of a radio reception unit other than the first radio reception unit and the adaptive array operational processing unit is stopped.

Radio reception apparatus capable of selecting from adaptive array reception mode and single route reception mode, and method and program for controlling adaptive array processing

An image transmission apparatus is provided with a FAX modem, an encoding/decoding section, a digitizer-integrated LCD, encoded image data memory, original image data memory, and additional image data memory. Original image data received by the FAX modem are temporarily stored in the encoded image data memory, and the original image data are decoded by the encoding/decoding section. The thus-decoded original image is stored in the original image data memory. An image of the thus-stored original image data is displayed on the digitizer-integrated LCD. An operator draws an additional image on the digitizer-integrated LCD. Data of the thus-drawn additional image are stored in the additional image data memory. The thus-stored additional image data are encoded by the encoding/decoding section, and the thus-encoded additional image data are temporarily stored in the encoded image data memory. Then, the encoded additional image data are sent by the FAX modem.
