Disclosed is a conjugated diene random copolymer having an alkoxysilane unit, which is prepared by subjecting a conjugated diene monomer, an aromatic vinyl monomer and an alkoxysilane monomer having a specific structure to emulsion polymerization, and in which the copolymer contains an alkoxysilane unit in the backbone thereof and is thus enhanced in the degree of dispersion and affinity to an inorganic reinforcing material such as carbon black or silica, and is useful as a rubber material for tires having superior mechanical and dynamic properties.

Provided is a method for preparing a styrene-butadiene copolymer having improved silica affinity through introduction of a novel reactive emulsifier. The styrene-butadiene copolymer prepared according to the disclosed method has superior affinity for thereby and thus has superior processability and tensile properties and remarkably improved dynamic properties. Therefore, when the styrene-butadiene copolymer according to the present invention is used as a tire tread material, it can greatly improve its physical properties.

Method for preparing styrene-butadiene copolymer using reactive emulsifier and styrene-butadiene copolymer prepared by the same

Provided is a functional styrene-butadiene copolymer having superior silica affinity. The copolymer is prepared by radical polymerizing a styrene monomer, a butadiene monomer and a reactive polyol monomer in emulsion state in order to maximize the mixing effect when compounding with silica. When mixed with silica, the disclosed styrene-butadiene copolymer provides excellent wet traction and superior abrasion resistance, and is suitable to be used for an industrial material of snow tires, belts, hoses, etc.
