An engine, an engine starter and its housing assembly are provided. The housing assembly includes a gear mounting portion for mounting a driving gear and a switch mounting portion for mounting a solenoid switch. The switch mounting portion comprises a connecting portion and a cover body. The connecting portion is connected with the gear mounting portion and comprises a through structure for mounting the solenoid switch, the cover body covers a top end of the through structure. A wall of the connecting portion corresponding to the gear mounting portion defines an opening for mounting a shifting fork, which is in communication with the through structure.

Engine, engine starter and housing assembly thereof

A motor and a rotary assembly of the motor are provided. The motor includes a rotary assembly and a stationary assembly supporting the rotary assembly. The rotary assembly includes a rotary shaft, a retainer rotating along with the rotary shaft, and a rotor magnet retained by the retainer. A portion of the rotor magnet engages with a portion of the retainer via interference fit, and a gap is defined between another portion of the rotor magnet and another portion of the retainer.

Motor and rotary assembly thereof

A blower includes a housing, and an impeller and a motor received in the housing. The motor drives the impeller to rotate. The motor includes a stator and a rotor. The stator includes a stator core and windings wound around the stator core. The stator core includes a yoke and teeth extending from the yoke. A distal end of each of the teeth forms a tooth tip, with a slot opening formed between each two adjacent tooth tips. The rotor includes a permanent magnet forming a plurality of magnetic poles. The stator and the rotor define an air gap therebetween. A circumferential width of the slot opening is equal to or less than two times of a radial width of the air gap.

Blower

A single phase brushless motor and a power tool are provided. The single phase brushless motor includes a stator and a rotor. The stator includes a stator core and windings wound around the stator core. The stator core includes a yoke and at least two teeth. The tooth includes a tooth body and a tooth tip. The tooth tip includes first and second pole shoes. The two pole shoes of each tooth are symmetrical about a center line of the tooth body. Each tooth defines a positioning groove facing the rotor between the two pole shoes. Pole shoes of adjacent two of the at least two teeth are spaced apart by a slot opening. A width of the positioning groove is greater than a width of the slot opening. The peak value of the cogging torque of the motor is increased, and the motor has a large startup torque.

Single phase brushless motor and power tool utilizing same

Engineered orange-red fluorescent proteins with enhanced fluorescent properties, obtained by mutagenesis of mNeptune2, are disclosed. In particular, the invention relates to engineered orange-red fluorescent proteins excitable with cyan light having increased emission intensity and their use in bioluminescent resonance energy transfer systems and fluorescence and bioluminescence imaging.

A starter for an internal combustion engine includes an electric motor and a solenoid switch. The solenoid switch includes a housing, a fixed core, a movable core, two spaced contacts, and a conductive member arranged to interconnect the contacts when the solenoid is turned on. The movable core is connected to a pinion of the motor which is movable to engage with a flywheel of the engine. The fixed core includes a pull-in coil of aluminum wire, a holding coil of copper wire, and a magnetic core. The motor is connected in series with the pull-in coil. When the solenoid is energized, the coils generate a magnetic field that attracts the movable core to the magnetic core, thereby the moving the pinion into engagement with the flywheel and causing the conductive member to interconnect the contacts.

Solenoid switch

A starter has a high voltage direct current electric motor, a speed reduction device, a clutch, an output gear and a switch box configured to turn on the electric motor. The output gear is driven by the electric motor via the speed reduction device and the clutch. The starter also has a stationary axle on which the output gear is installed. The electric motor has an output shaft. The speed reduction device has a drive gear fixed to the output shaft and a driven gear meshed with the drive gear, the driven gear being rotatably mounted to the axle via a bushing.

Starter and mower using the starter

A starter motor for an internal combustion engine has an electric motor, a shaft driven by the motor, and a pinion assembly arranged to engage a flywheel of the engine. The pinion assembly has a drive collar mounted to a helical spline of the shaft, an output gear and an elastic member disposed between the drive collar and the output gear. A connection shell prevents axial separation between the drive collar and the output gear. The elastic member prevents direct contact between the connection shell and at least one and possibly both of the drive collar and the output gear.

Starter motor

A starter motor includes an electric motor, a drive shaft driven by the motor and an inertia drive pinion which includes a driver in threaded engagement with the drive shaft, a pinion shaft rotatably sleeved on the drive shaft, an output pinion being able to rotate with the pinion shaft, and a one way clutch. At least one elastic member is arranged between the output pinion and the pinion shaft in the axial direction to resiliently support the output pinion to move along the pinion shaft. A one way clutch especially suitable for the starter motor was also disclosed.

Starter motor and one way clutch

A stator winding for a slotless motor is formed by winding a magnet wireinto a single layer coil. The coilis deformed e.g., by pressing, to form a double layer webwhich is rolled up end to end to form a cylindrical stator winding. The coilis divided into a number of phase windingsextending between connection tappings. The magnet wireis a multi-core magnet wire formed from a plurality of core wires. Each core wireis an insulated single core wire. Optionally the core wires are twisted together. The core wiresare electrically connected together at the connection tappingsto form a plurality of parallel electrical paths or sub-windings.
