The negative electrode for an alkaline storage battery includes a negative electrode core body formed of metal, and a negative electrode mixture layer which contains at least a hydrogen storage alloy and yttrium fluoride, and is carried on the negative electrode core body. Particles of the yttrium fluoride are formed so that the average particle size thereof is equal to 1 μm or more and 7 μm or less.

A vehicle body-embedded antenna device basically includes a plate-like antenna element, a circuit board and a fixed conductive part. The plate-like antenna element is disposed inside the bathtub-shaped part at the highest possible level therein so as to be substantially parallel to the metal body surface. The hydrogen storage alloy particles have a volume mean particle size of 40 &#x3bc;m or less and a concentration of chlorine of not less than 180 ppm to not more than 780 ppm.

An adhesive injection method is for injecting an adhesive that bonds an outer plate and a reinforcing member. The reinforcing member has through holes bored through the reinforcing member in a direction intersecting a bonding surface facing the outer plate. The method includes positioning the outer plate and the reinforcing member; disposing a sealing material covering a gap between the outer plate and the reinforcing member; and injecting the adhesive into the through holes in order from one end to the other end of the bonding surface. At the injecting, while the adhesive is injected into the through hole, when the adhesive is recognized through another through hole formed adjacent to the through hole into which the adhesive is being injected, a through hole into which the adhesive is to be injected is shifted from the through hole into which the adhesive is being injected to the other through hole.

A vehicle antenna device includes an antenna element, a circuit board, a coil, an amplifier circuit and a fixing portion. The antenna element functions as a capacitive antenna supporting a first frequency band. The circuit board has a power feeding portion that is connected to a power feeding line of the antenna element. The coil is electrically connected to the power feeding portion so that the antenna element has an antenna length supporting a second frequency band. The fixing portion and the antenna element are formed at an edge of the antenna element in order to fix the circuit board to the antenna element at a location close to the position of the coil and far from a position of the amplifier circuit. The fixing portion is provided with a predetermined gap from the coil that is large enough to avoid the influence of coupling with the coil.

A vehicle-body-embedded antenna device includes an antenna element, a circuit board, a coil and a ground bracket. The antenna element of a grounded type has an antenna capacitance adapted to function as a capacitive antenna that supports a first frequency band, and main polarization thereof is polarization substantially parallel to the roof surface. The coil is placed on the circuit board and connected to the power feeding part to which the antenna element is connected for making the antenna element to have an antenna length supporting a second frequency band. The ground bracket is directly grounded to a conductive member of the vehicle body which is provided at an angle different from an angle of the roof surface for improving polarization sensitivity of the antenna element substantially perpendicular to the roof surface.

A bladder bag is a mold for molding inside of a composite material structure. The composite material structure includes a narrow portion formed by narrowing a part of the inside and a space portion formed so as to be adjacent to the narrow portion. The bladder bag includes a bladder bag main body and a cord-like member. The bladder bag main body includes a narrow molding portion for molding the narrow portion of the composite material structure, a space molding portion for molding the space portion of the composite material structure, and an air intake for introducing air. The cord-like member is provided inside the bladder bag main body, passes through the narrow molding portion from the air intake, and is connected to an inner surface of the space molding portion.

A nickel-hydrogen secondary battery includes an electrode group which contains a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a separator, wherein the negative electrode includes a negative electrode core, and a negative electrode mixture layer held by the negative electrode core, wherein the negative electrode mixture layer contains a fluororesin; a quantity of the fluororesin, expressed by a mass applied per unit area of the negative electrode, is within a range of 0.2 mg/cmor more and 2.0 mg/cmor less; and a fluororesin content which is a ratio of the fluororesin contained in a unit volume of the negative electrode mixture layer is higher in an inner layer portion than in an outer layer portion in the negative electrode mixture layer.

Negative electrode for nickel-hydrogen secondary battery, and nickel-hydrogen secondary battery

A nickel hydrogen secondary battery accommodates an electrode group including a positive electrode and a negative electrode which are stacked one on top of another through a separator, together with an alkaline electrolyte. The battery contains Li, with a total amount of Li in the batteryof 15 to 50 mg/Ah, as determined as the mass in terms of LiOH per Ah of the positive electrode capacity. The negative electrode includes particles of rare earth-Mg&#x2014;Ni-based hydrogen storage alloy which contains a rare earth element, Mg and Ni. The hydrogen storage alloy particlesincludes, on the surface thereof, a rare earth hydroxide which is the hydroxide of a rare earth element and has a specific surface area of 0.1 to 0.5 m/g.

Nickel hydrogen secondary battery

A low-profile antenna device is provided for a vehicle. The low-profile antenna device includes a base plate, a circuit board, a base, a top-load element and a coil. The circuit board is disposed on the base plate, in parallel with the base plate. An amplifier circuit is placed on a front surface side of the circuit board, and a ground plate area having a ground plate and an empty area not having a ground plate are provided on a back, surface of the circuit board. The coil is disposed on the front surface side of the circuit board facing the empty area of the circuit board. The coil is disposed in a manner axially parallel with the circuit board, connected between the top-load element and the amplifier circuit, and adjusted to function as a resonance antenna.

Low-profile antenna device

A nickel-metal hydride secondary cell holds therein an electrode group and an alkaline electrolyte solution containing NaOH as a main constituent of its solute. The electrode group has positive and negative electrodes lapped one over the other with a separator therebetween. The negative electrode contains a hydrogen absorbing alloy having a composition represented by the general formula: (RET)MgNiAl(where RE is at least one element selected from among Y, Sc and rare-earth elements, T is at least one element selected from among Zr, V and Ca, and subscripts x, y, z and a are values respectively satisfying 0&#x2266;x, 0.05&#x2266;y&#x2266;0.35, 2.8&#x2266;z&#x2266;3.9, and 0.10&#x2266;a&#x2266;0.25), the hydrogen absorbing alloy has a crystal structure in which an ABsubunit and an ABsubunit are superimposed one upon the other, and Cr is substituted for part of the Ni.
