A method for pre-lithiation of a negative electrode is disclosed, including the steps of: producing a lithium metal laminate which includes i) lithium metal foil; and ii) a buffer layer including carbonaceous material particles, inorganic compound particles, polymer compound particles or their combination, and coated on one surface of the lithium metal foil; producing a negative electrode including a negative electrode current collector, and a negative electrode active material layer formed on at least one surface of the negative electrode current collector; and laminating the lithium metal laminate with the negative electrode in such a manner that the buffer layer of the lithium metal laminate is in contact with the negative electrode active material layer. A lithium metal laminate used for the method is also provided. The pre-lithiation of a negative electrode that includes a buffer layer reduces the problem of rapid volumetric swelling occurring.

Method for pre-lithiation of negative electrode for lithium secondary battery and lithium metal laminate used therefor

A negative electrode including: a negative electrode current collector; and a negative electrode active material layer on at least one surface of the negative electrode current collector. The negative electrode is pre-lithiated and the negative electrode active material layer includes a silicon-based material and a carbonaceous material. In addition, a graphene sheet having 2 layers to 15 layers is on the negative electrode active material layer. The negative electrode is advantageous in terms of storage and safety. A lithium secondary battery using the negative electrode shows reduced initial irreversibility, and thus provides increased efficiency.

Negative electrode for lithium secondary battery, method for manufacturing the same, and lithium secondary battery including the same

The present disclosure discloses a quick battery charging system including a lithium secondary battery having a negative electrode porosity of 25 to 35% and a negative electrode loading amount of x. The system includes a storage unit which stores a lookup table for mapping first coefficient information of an upper bound condition associated with a C-rate of a charge current represented by a quadratic function and information associated with the negative electrode loading amount (x). The system includes a charging control apparatus which reads the information associated with the negative electrode loading amount (x) from the storage unit, determines the first coefficient information of the quadratic function representing the upper bound condition from the lookup table, determines the C-rate range of the charge current using the first coefficient information, and supplies the charge current satisfying the determined C-rate range to the lithium secondary battery.

Provided is a solid state battery which solves the problems of the conventional solid state battery, and is effectively inhibited from a dimensional change caused by charging/discharging, an increase in internal resistance and degradation of charging/discharging characteristics or cycle life at a high current. The solid state battery is provided with an electrode active material layer including a negative electrode active material, a solid electrolyte and a conductive material, wherein the negative electrode active material includes a carbonaceous material and the carbonaceous material includes a plurality of pores, a porosity of 10-60 vol %, and a pore size of 100-300 nm based on the largest diameter of the pores.
