Disclosed is a display device including a display panel having a sub-pixel, a panel driving circuit configured to supply a data voltage to the sub-pixel, a panel sensing circuit configured to sense the sub-pixel, and a stabilization circuit disposed between a reference line connected to the sub-pixel and a sensing channel of the panel sensing circuit and configured to electrically stabilize the reference line such that charging of a voltage or current in the reference line is smoothly performed.

Display device and driving method thereof

A display device includes: a display panel including pixels arranged in a matrix shape; and a source driver to apply data voltages to the pixels. The source driver includes: a shift controller to shift a sampling control signal; a latch array to sample digital video data in response to the sampling control signal shifted by the shift controller; a digital-to-analog converter array to convert the digital video data from the latch array into data voltages by decoding the digital video data and combination-outputting gamma compensation voltages on the basis of a gray value of the decoded data; an output buffer array to output the data voltages from the digital-to-analog converter array; and a bias controller to adjust a bias current, which is applied to the output buffer array, according to delay and stable intervals of the data voltage.

Source driver, display device with the same and driving method thereof

An OLED display device is disclosed which includes: a display panel configured with pixels which each include an organic light emitting diode and a driving transistor applying a driving current to the organic light emitting diode; a gate driver connected to the pixels through gate lines; a data driver configured to apply a sensing voltage to the pixels through data lines in a sensing mode and enable a sensing current to flow through each of the driving transistors; a sensing driver configured to sense threshold voltages opposite the driving currents which flow through the driving transistors; and a brightness compensation circuit configured to derive negatively shifted degrees of threshold voltages of the driving transistors from the sensed threshold voltages, detect a bright-defected pixel on the basis of the negatively shifted degrees, and generate a compensation gray value for the bright-defected pixel.

Organic light emitting diode display device and driving method thereof

A driving circuit of a liquid crystal display device and a method for driving the same, which are capable of reducing manufacturing cost of the liquid crystal display device and reducing a luminance deviation so as to improve image quality, are disclosed. The driving circuit of the liquid crystal display device includes an LED backlight which includes a plurality of LED modules arranged in a plurality of division areas and generates light, an internal photosensor which is mounted in any one of the plurality of division areas, for detecting a luminance value, a controller which generates and outputs a plurality of control signals for changing respective luminance values of the plurality of division areas according to the luminance value detected by the internal photosensor, and a plurality of LED drivers which drive the plurality of LED modules according to the plurality of control signals.
