The present disclosure relates to a nucleic acid analysis apparatus using a cartridge which can simplify the nucleic acid extraction and applicable to a molecular diagnostic POCT equipment. The nucleic acid analysis device includes a stage on which a cartridge is mountable, a nucleic acid extraction unit, and a control unit. The nucleic acid extraction unit performs a nucleic acid extraction through crushing of the sample, the cell disruption, and the nucleic acid purification as well as a nucleic acid amplification. The control unit controls the stage and the nucleic acid extraction unit so that the nucleic acid extraction through the crushing of the sample, the cell disruption, and the nucleic acid purification as well as the nucleic acid amplification are collectively performed.

Nucleic acid analysis apparatus using cartridge

The present disclosure provides a cartridge for use in nucleic acid extraction and a nucleic acid extraction method which can simplify a nucleic acid extraction process and can be applicable to a point-of-care testing (POCT). The cartridge includes a chamber module, an air valve module, and a liquid valve module. The chamber module includes a plurality of chambers for extracting nucleic acids from a sample including a pretreatment chamber in which the sample is crushed and homogenization, cell disruption, and purification are performed. The air valve module is installed on the chamber module to control a pressure required to move a fluid between the plurality of chambers. The liquid valve module is installed below the chamber module to move the fluid between the plurality of chambers.

Cartridge for nucleic acid extraction and nucleic acid extraction method

The present invention relates to a method for extracting nucleic acids from a biological sample, and the extraction method presents a novel method for effectively extracting nucleic acids. When nucleic acids are extracted from biological samples in the related art, various impurities present in the biological samples are not properly removed, such that the purification rate is low, but the present invention provides a method for extracting nucleic acids from a biological sample of which the bacteria, virus and nucleic acid recovery rates are enhanced, by adding a surfactant and a sodium sulfate (NaSO) solution in a biological sample disruption step and a purification step, thereby enabling pathogens to be detected more sensitively and accurately.

Method for extracting nucleic acids from biological sample

The present invention relates to a biomemory device, comprising (a) a substrate; and (b) a heterolayer comprising a protein having a redox potential and an inorganic particle; wherein the heterolayer is immobilized on the substrate. By applying inorganic particles, the present invention provides a biomemory device capable of enhancing low current signals detected electron transfer between biomolecules and substrates up to at least five (5) times greater signals. The present invention is capable of controlling the redox states with help of redox potentials of proteins depending on applied potential. The present invention provides a new-concept biomemory device as an information storage device based on the principle of electron transfer of a naturally occurring biomolecule.

Biomemory device comprising heterolayer of recombinant protein and inorganic particle

The bioprocessing device of the present invention has a function of information reinforcement, information regulation, or information amplification.
