An interior permanent magnet type brushless direct current (BLDC) motor includes a stator having a plurality of slots and a stator coil wound on the slots. The interior permanent magnet type brushless direct current (BLDC) motor also includes a rotor that rotates with respect to the stator and that has a rotor core and a plurality of permanent magnets positioned in the rotor core. The rotor has a notch that is cut off between adjacent permanent magnets.

A rotor of a synchronous reluctance motor is provided. The rotor may include a laminated core including a plurality of laminated silicon steel sheets being equally divided into a plurality of regions with respect to a central portion of the plurality of silicon steel sheets. Each of the plurality of regions may include a plurality of barriers. Guide pin holes may be formed between adjacent regions so as to receive guide pins therethrough to align the plurality of silicon steel sheets and end caps provided at opposite ends thereof. Rivets may penetrate receiving holes formed at corresponding barriers in each of the respective regions so as to couple the laminated core and the end caps.

A rotor of a flux barrier type synchronous reluctance motor comprises: a rotation shaft; a rotor core formed as a plurality of steel plates are laminated to one another, the steel plate having a shaft hole for inserting the rotation shaft, a plurality of flux barrier groups spaced from one another in a circumferential direction and having a plurality of flux barriers spaced from one another in a radial direction, and a coupling hole penetratingly-formed between the adjacent two flux barrier groups; and a coupling member inserted into the coupling hole and fixing the steel plate. Accordingly, a fabrication cost and an entire weight of the motor are decreased, and a fabrication process is facilitated with a shortened fabrication time. Also, a large coupling intensity is obtained and a magnetic saturation does not occur, thereby preventing a function degradation of the motor.

A driving circuit for improving starting of a hybrid induction motor and its method includes a capacitor for operation electrically connected between a main coil and a auxiliary-coil, and a starting and current cutting-off means electrically connected with the capacitor for operation, applying a high starting current to a motor in starting, and cutting off the starting current when the motor is operated at a synchronous speed after the starting, so that a satisfactory starting characteristic can be obtained by increasing output under a low voltage state in starting, and effective operation can be performed by decreasing output under a normal operation state after the starting is completed.

Driving circuit for improving starting of hybrid induction motor and method thereof

Disclosed is a stator of an induction motor, the induction motor comprising: a stator provided with a main winding coil and an auxiliary winding coil at a plurality of slots formed at a body of the stator; an induction rotor rotatably inserted into the stator; and a magnet rotor rotatably inserted between the stator and the induction rotor. Coil spans, intervals between the slots of the stator, are different each other thus to have an increased counter electromotive force induced to the main winding coil at the time of driving, thereby enhancing efficiency of the motor. Also, end lengths of the main winding coil and the auxiliary winding coil become short and the structure becomes simple, thereby reducing a consumption amount of the coil and facilitating a coil winding work.

An electric motor, more particularly, a rotor structure of an electric motor comprises: a stator including a plurality of teeth and coil wound on the teeth to form rotary magnetic flux by applied electric source; a rotary shaft; and a rotor rotatably installed in the stator, the rotor including a shaft insertion hole so that the rotary shaft can be inserted therethrough and fixed, wherein, the rotor includes a plurality of permanent magnet insertion slots of 'V' or 'U' shape formed in radial direction as centering around the shaft insertion hole, and permanent magnets are inserted and fixed into the permanent magnet insertion slots respectively, and a plurality of air gap expanding portions, on which air gaps from the teeth of the stator are expanded, are formed on an outer circumferential surface of the rotor.
