A compressor may include a casing; an electric motor provided in the casing and that operates a rotational shaft; and a compression device. A flow path guide may be installed between the electric motor and the compression device, and may separate a refrigerant flow path from an oil flow path. The flow path guide may have a first partition wall and a second partition wall which are spaced apart from each other. In addition, the flow path guide may have an oil discharge port formed in at least a section of the flow path guide along a circumferential direction thereof, the oil discharge port allowing a guide space between the first partition wall and the second partition wall to be open toward the inner surface of the casing.

Disclosed is a method of bonding upper and lower substrates for manufacturing a plastic micro chip comprising the upper substrate, the lower substrate and a sample filling space having a predetermined height for filling a sample between the upper and lower substrates. According to the method, the upper and lower substrates are bonded by introducing an organic solvent between the upper and lower substrates. In addition, the invention provides a method of manufacturing a micro chip using the method and a micro chip manufactured according to the method. According to the invention, it is possible to easily and precisely bond the upper and lower substrates of the plastic micro chip.

Disclosed is a microfluidic chip capable of accurately and quickly detecting presence of a trace amount of a target within a fluid sample. It has a channel structure comprising a sample inlet for feeding a sample therethrough, a first reservoir for primarily storing the sample therein, a second reservoir for secondarily storing the sample therein, a first reaction portion in which a target is conjugated with a label, a second reaction portion in which the labeled target undergoes a specific reaction, such as an antigen-antibody reaction, and a delaying portion, located between the first and the second reaction portion, for decreasing a flow rate of the sample.

A fluid analysis chip includes a channel formed within the chip. The chip includes a sample inlet and a sample outlet communicating with an outside of the chip, where the sample inlet and the sample outlet communicate with each other through the closed channel. An expanding part of the channel is formed in a longitudinal direction of the channel in such a manner that a pair of inner walls of the channel define an inner surface of the expanding part, and the expanding part has a larger sectional area than the channel.

Chip for analyzing fluids

Disclosed is a module for rapidly detecting analytes in fluids with high effectiveness and a chip having the module. The module includes a microchannel, which has a filtering zone for removing noise materials and a reaction zone wherein labeling reaction and immobilization reaction for detection of analytes are performed, sample fluid moving through the microchannel due to capillary floating. In a case where the chip having the module is used in detecting analytes in fluids, it is possible to minimize dead volume of sample fluid so that high effective volume ratio can be implemented. Therefore, the chip can be used in detecting analytes from the minimum amount of sample fluid.

Disclosed is a focusing channel device which focuses fluid containing micro particles so that the micro particles flow in a line. The channel device comprises a nozzle formed by left and right walls each of which comprises an inclination surface. The cross sectional area in vertical direction decreases from the entrance of the nozzle toward the exit of the nozzle. The shape of cross sectional view in horizontal direction is asymmetric for the central line in the length direction. Using the focus channel device of the invention, the micro particles in the fluid are not combined with each other and passed through the channel one by one. Thus, blockage of the channel or combination and movement of two particles together does not occur.
