There is provided an information processing device, an information processing method, and a program that improve detection accuracy in detecting a motion or posture of a person or an object using an inertial sensor. A posture of a measurement target is estimated based on a position and orientation of each of a plurality of measurement devices arranged at a plurality of parts of the measurement target and based on a connection relationship between the measurement devices that is set based on positions and orientations of the measurement devices, each measurement device including an inertial sensor. The present technology can be applied to a motion capture system.
