Overall sequence of a system designed using an object-oriented language is analyzed so as to permit easy comprehension. Class name acquisition means of a sequence analysis apparatus acquires class names included in sequence diagrams. Instance name acquisition means acquires instance names included in the sequence diagrams, and method name acquisition means acquires method names included in the sequence diagrams. Call relationship acquisition means acquires call relationships of methods included in the sequence diagrams. Sequence table display means looks up the thus-acquired class names, instance names, method names and call relationships, to generate and display a sequence table showing a tabulated list of the call relationships of the method.

Sequence analysis method and apparatus

The present invention provides automatic program generation technology that enables the generation of a diverse range of programs with fewer models. The automatic program generation device of the present invention, which automatically generates programs that will perform the predetermined processing, comprises a plurality of data structure resolution units that respectively include a model program for a corresponding data structure, wherein the model program includes resolution logic for performing a setting peculiar to the predetermined processing; and a resolution unit for generating a program for performing the predetermined processing by acquiring resolution information relating to the setting peculiar to the predetermined processing for resolution logic included in the model program in the data structure resolution unit corresponding to a selected data structure and by synthesizing the model program and the resolution information for the resolution logic. In the present invention, model programs are prepared in correspondence with data structures. Compared with the preparation of a model for each use and/or processing flow, it enables the generation of a diverse range of programs with fewer models.

Automatic program generation technology using data structure resolution unit

A business requirement handling apparatus is adapted to a data processing system which includes a central processing unit, a display unit and an input unit. The business requirement handling apparatus is provided with a business requirement database accumulating and managing business requirements of businesses to be programmed depending on a substrate indicating predetermined data types and relations thereof, business requirement editing process device displaying business requirements on display unit to perform editing process and storing edited business requirements in business requirement database in units of individual data types, where each of business requirements are described in the form of a restricting expression which restricts input data if a processing content is formed of input items, described in the form of a calculation expression for obtaining output data if the processing content is formed of output items, and added with a conditional expression if a necessary condition exists, a contradiction detecting process device detecting existence of contradictions among the business requirements stored in business requirement database based on attributes including restricting expression, calculation expression or conditional expression annexed to items of business requirements, and notifying a user of content of contradiction when contradiction is detected, and a program synthesizing process device generating program parts from requirements of each item based on business requirements stored in business requirement database, and generating business program which is executable in a user environment by synthesizing the program parts with a given control logic.
