The present disclosure relates to a multilayer optical film including a first film layer formed of a thermoplastic acrylic resin composition including 0.01 to 2.0 parts by weight of a triazine-based ultraviolet absorber; a second film layer formed of a thermoplastic acrylic resin composition including 0.1 to 5.0 parts by weight of at least one ultraviolet absorber selected from a group consisting of a triazole-based ultraviolet absorber, a benzophenone-based ultraviolet absorber, an oxanilide-based ultraviolet absorber and a cyanoacrylate-based ultraviolet absorber; and a third film layer formed of the thermoplastic acrylic resin composition including 0.01 to 2.0 parts by weight of the triazine-based ultraviolet absorber, with respect to 100 parts by weight of the thermoplastic acrylic resin composition, a method of manufacturing the same, and a polarizing plate including the same.

There is provided a method for preparing an acrylic copolymer resin for an optical film includes: suspension-polymerizing an acrylic monomer containing a benzene ring, an alkyl(meth)acrylate monomer, and a (meth)acrylic acid monomer to prepare a copolymer; and thermally treating the copolymer at a temperature ranging from 240&#xb0; C. to 300&#xb0; C. As the method for preparing an acrylic copolymer of the present invention, a resin having an effectively lowered CTE can be manufactured by inducing the formation of a glutaric anhydride structure by using suspension polymerization that facilitates adjustment of the molecular weight of a resin.

There are provided a resin composition and an optical film using the same. The resin composition includes a copolymer (A) formed by polymerizing a (meth)acryloyl morpholine-based monomer (a), a maleimide-based monomer (b), and an alkyl(meth)acrylate-based monomer (c), and the optical film is manufactured using the same. The resin composition may provide a film having excellent optical properties and optical transparency, reduced haze, excellent mechanical strength, a relatively low level of thermal expansion coefficient leading to a relatively small change in a dimension, and a relatively low level of alteration in a retardation value due to external stress.

There are provided a resin composition and an optical compensation film formed using the same, and more particularly, to a resin composition comprising (a) alkyl (meth)acrylate units, (b) styrene units, (c) 3 to 6 element heterocyclic units substituted with at least one carbonyl group and (d) vinyl cyanide units, and an optical film formed using the resin composition.
