A gear changing control apparatus is provided for controlling a gear changing device of a bicycle according to a plurality of operation modes of an auxiliary power device that assists a manual drive force of the bicycle. The control apparatus includes a controller and a traveling state detecting unit. The traveling state detecting unit is configured to detect a traveling state of the bicycle. The controller controls the gear changing device and controls the auxiliary power device to operate in one of the plurality of operation modes. The controller is configured to select a gear changing range to be used according to a selected operation mode from the plurality of operation modes. The controller controls the gear changing device within the gear changing range that is selected. The controller also controls the gear changing device according to a detection result of the traveling state detecting unit.

Gear changing control apparatus

An operation control apparatus and a bicycle display device are provided that are configured for improving the usability. The operation control apparatus includes a controller, which is configured to operate a bicycle electronic apparatus that can be mounted on a bicycle. The operation control apparatus is configured to cause a predetermined control target to execute a predetermined operation of the bicycle electronic apparatus according to an operation of an operating unit inputted to the controller. The controller is configured to set at least one of the predetermined control target and the predetermined operation, according to at least one of the configuration, the type and the function of the bicycle electronic apparatus.

A control device is configured to be installed on a handlebar of a bicycle and configured to operate a brake device on the bicycle. The control device basically includes a bicycle attachment member, a brake operating member and at least one of a wireless communication unit and a notification unit. The brake operating member is pivotally coupled to the attachment member to pivot about a first axis. The least one of the wireless communication unit and the notification unit is disposed on the brake operating member.

Control device

A bicycle control device controls a motor to assist driving of a wheel of a bicycle. The bicycle control device includes a controller configured to control the motor and an operation unit configured to be operated to switch operation modes of the motor. The controller includes at least a walk mode as the operation modes. In a case that a rotation speed of a wheel becomes lower than or equal to a predetermined value while the motor is driven in the walk mode, the controller is configured to control the motor so as to gradually decrease output of the motor and then stop driving the motor.

Bicycle control device, motor assist bicycle including bicycle control device, and method of controlling motor of motor assist bicycle

A bicycle control device controls a motor to assist driving of a wheel of a bicycle. The bicycle control device includes a sole first operation switch and a controller. The controller is configured to switch, when the first operation switch is operated, between a ride mode that controls the motor in correspondence with manual driving force and a walk mode that drives the motor in correspondence with the operation of the first operation switch. After switching to the walk mode in accordance with the operation of the first operation switch, the controller is configured to drive the motor in correspondence with the operation of the first operation switch.

A bicycle transmission control device is basically provided with a transmission controller that is programmed to switch between a first control state and a second control state. The bicycle transmission control device operates in accordance with the first control state for controlling a transmission based on a first signal that is input from a first detector, which detects a rotation of a crank. The bicycle transmission control device operates in accordance with the second control state for controlling the transmission based on a second signal that is input from a second detector, which detects a value reflecting a bicycle speed.

A bicycle control system comprises a first bicycle component and a second bicycle component. The first bicycle component is configured to be mounted to a bicycle and to perform wireless communication. A power supply system is basically provided for supplying electric power to an electric component of a bicycle. The power supply system includes a first battery, a second battery, an operating unit and a power supply controller. The power supply controller is configured to transition an operating state by electric power of the second battery and supply electric power from the first battery to the electric component when the operating unit is operated in a stopped state.

A transmission control system is provided for used in a bicycle having a crank, a front sprocket that is rotatable independent of the crank, a rear wheel, a rear sprocket that is rotatable independent of the rear wheel, a chain that engages with the front sprocket and the rear sprocket, and at least one external transmission mechanism. The transmission control system is basically provided with a driving force output device, a detection device and at least one controller. The detection device is one of a rotational state detection device, a manual drive force detecting device and a speed detection device. The at least one controller is programmed to control the driving force output device to drive the chain and to control a gear shifting action of the at least one external transmission mechanism to shift gears, based on a comparison of the detection results by the detection device and a prescribed state or a prescribed value.
