Some implementations disclosed herein provide techniques and arrangements to enable translating language characters in media content. For example, some implementations receive a user selection of a first portion of media content. Some implementations disclosed herein may, based on the first portion, identify a second portion of the media content. The second portion of the media content may include one or more first characters of a first language. Some implementations disclosed herein may create an image that includes the second portion of the media content and may send the image to a server. Some implementations disclosed herein may receive one or more second characters of a second language corresponding to a translation of the one or more first characters of the first language from the server.

Translating language characters in media content

Some implementations may present a media file that includes video on a touchscreen display. A user gesture performed on the touchscreen display may be detected. The user gesture may include one of a tap gesture, a swipe gesture, or a tap and hold and drag while holding gesture. Text selected by the user gesture may be determined. One or more follow-up actions may be performed automatically based at least partly on the text selected by the user gesture.

A method for recognizing a character includes: obtaining a character; converting the character into a radical based character recognition result, where the radical based character recognition result comprises symbols indicating radicals of the character and a structure of the radicals of the character; and recognizing the character based on the radical based character recognition result.

Method, apparatus and storage medium for recognizing character

A character recognition system receives an unknown character and recognizes the character based on a pre-trained recognition model. Prior to recognizing the character, the character recognition system may pre-process the character to rotate the character to a normalized orientation. By rotating the character to a normalized orientation in both training and recognition stages, the character recognition system releases the pre-trained recognition model from considering character prototypes in different orientations and thereby speeds up recognition of the unknown character. In one example, the character recognition system rotates the character to the normalized orientation by aligning a line between a sum of coordinates of starting points and a sum of coordinates of ending points of each stroke of the character with a normalized direction.

Rotation-free recognition of handwritten characters

The present invention provides a cracking catalyst, containing a rare-earth Y-zeolite and a support, which is characterized in that the rare-earth content in crystal lattice of the rare-earth Y-zeolite is 4-15 wt % of REO; the original unit cell size is 2.440-2.465 nm; the equilibrium unit cell size of the catalyst after 100% steam-aging treatment at 800&#xb0; C. for 17 hours is larger than 2.435 nm; the rare-earth atom content in the support is 1.0-8.0 wt % of the support. The present invention also relates to a preparation process for the same catalyst.

Cracking catalyst and a preparation process for the same

The invention discloses a rare-earth Y-zeolite-containing catalyst for cracking hydrocarbons and a method for preparing the same. The catalyst is characterized in that the rare-earth content in crystal lattice of the rare-earth Y-zeolite, calculated in REO, is from 4 to 15% by weight, the original unit cell size is from 2.440 nm to 2.465 nm and the equilibrium unit cell size after 100% steam-aging treatment at 800&#xb0; C. for 17 hours is larger than 2.435 nm. The catalyst is obtained in the following steps: the rare-earth Y-zeolite is dried first till its water content less than 10% by weight, then in a weight ratio of SiCl:Y-zeolite=0.1&#x2dc;0.9:1, reacts with SiClgas carried by dry air, further is purged by dry air and washed by decationized water to remove the soluble by-products; the resulted rare-earth Y-zeolite is mixed with a binder and a clay, pulped and formed by spary drying. The zeolite content of the catalyst disclosed in present invention decreases 5&#x2dc;25% by weight compared to the catalyst prepared in prior art for cracking heavy oil and decreasing olefin content. The catalyst is characterized with good cracking activity, high hydrothermal stability, and high conversion of heavy oil as well as excellent selectivity of gasoline, dry gas and coke; moreover, the olefin content in the produced gasoline decreases effectively.

Rare earth y-zeolite catalyst for cracking hydrocarbons and a method for preparing same

The present invention discloses a high stability rare earth zeolite Y with high rare earth and the preparation process thereof, which zeolite has a content of rare earth of 4&#x2013;15 wt %, a unit cell constant of 2.450&#x2013;2.458 nm, a differential thermal collapsed temperature of 1000&#x2013;1056&#xb0; C., a silica to alumina ratio of 8.3&#x2013;8.8, and a content of sodium oxide less than 1.0 wt %. Said zeolite is prepared by drying a rare earth-containing zeolite Y, introducing gaseous silicon tetrachloride carried by dry air and reacting at a temperature of 150&#x2013;600&#xb0; C. for 10 min to 6 h, then purging with dry air and washing with de-cationized water to remove the soluble by-products. The rare earth zeolite Y possesses high activity and selectivity for cracking the heavy oils, high activity for hydrogen transfer, has good coke selectivity, can effectively increase the yield of light oils, and improve the quality of gasoline and thus can directly serve as an active component for preparing various hydrocarbon cracking catalysts.

Said zeolite is prepared by drying a rare earth-containing zeolite Y, introducing gaseous silicon tetrachloride carried by dry air and reacting at a temperature of 150-600&deg; C. for 10 min to 6 h, then purging with dry air and washing with de-cationized water to remove the soluble by-products. The rare earth zeolite Y possesses high activity and selectivity for cracking the heavy oils, high activity for hydrogen transfer, has good coke selectivity, can effectively increase the yield of light oils, and improve the quality of gasoline and thus can directly serve as an active component for preparing various hydrocarbon cracking catalysts.
