The policy includes a resource to be accessed, a subject who accesses the resource, and an access operation. The processor receives an input policywhich is a candidate to be newly set, acquires an attribute value corresponding to values of a subject and a resource included in the input policy, generates one or more post-conversion policiesby changing the values of the subject and the resource included in the input policyto the acquired attribute value, and sets the input policy as a new policy when all the generated post-conversion policiesare consistent with an existing policy.

A data management system includes a processor. An estimated ETL level mapping processing unit is operated on the processor to estimate existence of unregistered ETL that is ETL not registered in a repository, to calculate a degree of similarity based on matching between an existing data model and retained data, and to extract a column to be a candidate based on the degree of similarity. The existence of the unregistered ETL is estimated by estimating the presence or absence of connectedness in the ETLs on the basis of correspondence between input data and output data in ETLs by using an execution ETL log relevant to an execution history of the ETL.

Then, a data model conversion rule that causes the first data model to correspond to the second data model is generated based on the data migration rule, the first data model, and the second data model, and the second program is converted into a first program based on the data model conversion rule.
