Photoelectric sensor

A base member of the sensor includes a first projection part, a second projection part, and a third projection part, being columnar and projecting from a first placement surface. Tip ends of the first, second and third projection parts are formed on second placement surfaces. The first and second projection parts respectively include a fourth pin and a fifth pin inserted through a second rigid substrate and projecting from the second placement surface. Three ribs are formed on a peripheral surface of the fourth pin and disposed so that positions viewed from a center of the fourth pin respectively form angles less than 180 degrees. Two ribs are formed on a peripheral surface of the fifth pin, and project along a fourth line perpendicular to a third line connecting the fourth pin and the fifth pin.

Photoelectric sensor and method for manufacturing same

A sensor and an electronic device are provided. The sensor includes a setting part and a seal ring in an annular shape. The setting part changes a setting of a sensor main body. The seal ring is provided to surround a shaft of the setting part and seals a gap between the shaft and a housing. The seal ring has a curved surface part and a pair of end parts. The curved surface part is curved convexly in a cross-sectional view. The pair of end parts have a shape different from the curved surface part and extend in an axial direction of the seal ring, on two sides of the curved surface part in the axial direction of the seal ring.

A through-hole is formed in the housing. The cable is inserted into the through-hole. The first circuit board and the second circuit board are accommodated in the housing. The first circuit board is provided with a first connector. The second circuit board has a first portion and a second portion. The cable is soldered to the first portion. The second portion is provided with a second connector. The second connector is inserted into the first connector. The second circuit board connects the cable and the first circuit board.

Provided is a photoelectric sensor that enables manufacturing of a sensor with high environmental durability in a case in which there is more variation in case bodies. A photoelectric sensor includes: a package that includes an optical unit and a sealing member that seals the optical unit, and the optical unit includes at least any one of a light projecting portion that emits light and a light receiving portion that detects light; and a case body that accommodates the package, and a gap is provided between the package and the case body.
