A pump having a canned motor which has a stator with an internal rotor disposed therein, the stator and the internal rotor being mutually separated fluid-tightly by a can disposed between stator and internal rotor, the stator having stator teeth which extend radially in the direction of the internal rotor and define with appurtenant stator-tooth end faces a receiving space for the internal rotor and the can, the can lying against the stator-tooth end faces, the can having on its surface facing the stator, in stator-tooth gaps which are respectively defined by two mutually adjacent stator teeth, ribs fitted in in a form-locking manner which taper in the radial direction, starting out from a rib root disposed on the can, with regard to a rib thickness defined in the circumferential direction of the can.

A linear actuator for an active engine mount of a vehicle has a stator with a coil that can be fed with electric current for generating an electromagnetic field and an actuating element that is mounted in axially movable fashion with reference to the stator. The actuating element comprises an armature and a ram extending in axial direction and is so mounted in the stator by means of at least one spring element that it can be moved axially in frictionless fashion when the coil is fed with current. The actuating element comprises a support element of a non-magnetic light-weight construction material extending in radial direction between the armature and the ram. Advantageously, the armature is provided only in such regions where there run magnetically relevant field lines of the electromagnetic field of the coil.

The pole geometry of an electromagnetic switch valve includes a cylindrical well on the pole member, which is penetrated by a cylindrical pin on the magnetic armature. This obtains a magnetic force-stroke curve that first extends proportionally starting out from the initial position of the magnetic armature and then rises progressively until the magnetic armature reaches the end position. Continuously increasing the energizing of the magnetic drive upon shifting of the magnetic armature from its initial position into its end position enables the noise formation upon the closing process of the valve to be reduced. Accordingly, the noise formation upon the opening process of the valve can be reduced when the energizing of the magnetic coil is reduced not abruptly but continuously.
