A Hall sensor trim circuit includes a current source, a transistor, a reference voltage circuit, an amplifier, and a Hall sensor. The transistor includes a first terminal, a second terminal, and a third terminal. The third terminal is coupled to the current source. The amplifier includes an output terminal, a first input terminal, and a second input terminal. The output terminal is coupled to the first terminal of the transistor. The first input terminal is coupled to the second terminal of the transistor. The second input terminal is coupled to the reference voltage circuit. The Hall sensor is coupled to the current source.

Hall sensor trim circuit

A chopper-stabilized current feedback amplifier includes an input buffer having a non-inverting input and an inverting input. A first group of chopper circuits modulate current at the non-inverting and inverting inputs. The current feedback amplifier further includes a plurality of current mirrors coupled to the input buffer. A second group of chopper circuits modulate current in the current mirrors. The current feedback amplifier also includes phase detector circuitry coupled to the current mirrors and configured to detect a transition current in the current mirrors. The current feedback amplifier also includes a switched capacitor filter having an input coupled to the current mirrors. The switched capacitor filter is turned OFF responsive to the detection of the transition current by the phase detector circuitry. The current feedback amplifier also includes an output stage having an input coupled to the switched capacitor filter and is configured to produce an output signal.

Chopper-stabilized current feedback amplifier

A ground fault current interrupter circuit includes a plurality of comparators, threshold generation circuitry, and a plurality of timer circuits. Each of the comparators is configured to compare a threshold voltage to a signal representative of a difference of current flow to a load and current flow from the load. The threshold generation circuitry is configured to generate a plurality of different threshold voltages. Each of the different threshold voltages is provided as the threshold voltage for one of the comparators. Each of the comparators is coupled to one of the timer circuits, and the one of the timer circuits is configured to activate a fault signal responsive to activation of an output of the comparator for a time that is related to the threshold voltage provided to the comparator. The time increases with lower values of the threshold voltage.

The present invention ( ) comprises an operational amplifier with a first stage comparator circuit ( ) for biasing a second stage folded cascode amplifier circuit ( ). The result is that the input differential voltage signal to output current signal is transformed from a tanh function to a sinh function. The present invention provides the low noise, low distortion, high gain, wide bandwidth and good DC performance characteristics of the folded cascode op-amp configuration, with much improved slew rate.

Bipolar class AB folded cascode operational amplifier for high-speed applications

An emitter coupled pair transconductor circuit includes: an emitter couple pair and ; and a tail current source coupled to the emitter couple pair wherein the tail current source provides a tail current that is a hyperbolic cosine function relative to a differential input signal. This solution transforms the output current of an emitter couple pair transconductor from a hyperbolic tangent to a hyperbolic sine by using a hyperbolic cosine comparator for the biasing. By doing this, the transconductor has a similar speed behavior to a second-generation current conveyor and is more precise. This transformation makes a regular transconductor very fast without changing its parameters.

Bipolar emitter couple pair transconductor for high speed operational amplifiers

A class AB input differential amplifier employs a single loop output common mode feedback circuit (CMFC) to achieve high performance by controlling the common mode output voltage. The CMFC includes a small amplifier to compare the common mode voltage at the output with a desired voltage specified at the common mode output voltage pin. Having only one loop to control this voltage instead of two makes the design more reliable and easier to compensate since there is no need to worry about how multiple loops will interact.
