The devices and methods described herein relate to improved structures for removing obstructions from body lumens. Such devices have applicability in through-out the ho including clearing of blockages within the vasculature, by addressing the frictional resistance on the obstruction prior to attempting to translate and/or mobilize the obstruction within the body lumen.

Retrieval systems and methods for use thereof

Devices, systems, and methods for treating vascular defects are disclosed herein. One aspect of the present technology, for example, includes an occlusive device comprising an expandable mesh including an outer mesh and an inner mesh disposed within the outer mesh when the mesh is in an expanded, unconstrained state. The mesh may include a connection portion positioned at or within an inner cavity of the inner mesh and configured to be detachably coupled to a delivery member. The inner cavity may be configured to receive a distal portion of an elongated shaft and contain the distal portion while one or more coils is delivered through the elongated shaft into the inner cavity.

Expandable devices for treating body lumens

Flexible expandable treatment devices are disclosed herein. One aspect of the present technology, for example, is directed to an expandable tubular structure formed of an interwoven strand and configured to be positioned in a blood vessel. The interwoven strand may be arranged to form a plurality of cells and a plurality of joints between adjacent cells. At least one of the joints may include a first strand slidably interlocked with a second strand, and at least one of the first strand and the second strand may bend back on itself to form a restriction that limits disengagement of the first strand and the second strand at the joint.

Flexible intravascular treatment devices and associated systems and methods of use
