In the method for manufacturing tires is provided herein. The method includes moving a member, which causes the transporting of at least one green tire into a predetermined loading zone of a curing station. After which, the cured tired is transferred to the member (from a curing station), and the green tire is transferred to the curing station. The member is then moved to transport the cured tire out of the loading zone.

Method for manufacturing tires with two supports for green and cured tires

Device for supporting a raw rubber tire for the manufacture of a pneumatic tire having arms, each bearing a block articulated to the arm and arranged to extend above it. Each block has an upper face arranged to support an upper bead of a tire and a lower face arranged to be actuated by a lower bead of the tire. Each block is arranged such that, with the block extending as a projection from the arm in a direction radial to a main axis of the device on an opposite side of the arm to the axis, an upward force on the lower face places the block in a position in which it no longer extends as a projection from the arm in the radial direction on that side of the arm.

A fixing element () that enables an electronic unit () to be fixed on the inside of a tire-wheel assembly, on the tubular insert () of an inflation valve () of the tire-wheel assembly, the fixing element comprising: an interface piece () comprising means to establish a connection with the tubular insert of the valve and a housing () for a seal (); at least one container () holding or designed to hold the electronic unit; and at least one attachment piece () that enables elastic coupling between the interface piece and the container. A method for mounting an electronic unit () on a tire-wheel assembly is also disclosed.

Tire valve fixing element

Inflation valve having a tube and designed for use in an assembly consisting of a tire and a wheel, the valve having: (i) snap-in mechanism that enable the valve to be fixed in a cylindrical hole of circular cross-section formed in a rim of the wheel; (ii) mechanism suitable for receiving a torque intended to rotate the valve in the hole; (iii) an attachment piece provided with a mechanism for attaching the valve to a unit designed to be fitted inside the tire; the mechanism the valve to be attached to the unit being such that the attachment piece is separated from the unit when the valve is rotated in the hole in a predetermined rotation direction.
