A robotic module for driving an elongate flexible medical member includes: movable drive members alternately positioned in a drive configuration in which the drive members are sufficiently close together to be able to drive the elongate flexible medical member, and in a free configuration in which the drive members are sufficiently far apart so as to no longer be able to drive the elongate flexible medical member, a control member controlling movement of the movable drive members into the drive configuration in which the elongate flexible medical member is driven, and a reverse movement into the free configuration, a stress sensor measuring stress on at least one of the drive members, and a user interface linked to the stress sensor so as to receive the measured stress from the stress sensor and suitable for providing a signal representative of the measured stress to the user of the robotic module.

Disclosed is a module including: a base; a first drive member; and a second drive member. The second drive member is also mounted so as to be movable relative to the first drive member, in a degree of freedom other than rotational about the second axis, between a first and a second configuration. A motion transmission system transmits the driving movement generated by the drive motor to the second drive member in order to rotate the second drive member about the second axis between the first and second configurations.

The robot for arteriography comprises a fixed base and a movable receptacle. The receptacle comprises a recipient receiving an elongate flexible member. A drive system drives the receptacle relative to the base. The receptacle comprises a drive module rigidly connected to the elongate flexible member in translation in operational configuration of the robot. The drive module is actuated in order to generate a rotational movement of the elongate flexible member.
