A C-arm x-ray imaging device includes a base, a carriage operably connected to the base and having at least one axis of movement with respect to the base, a C-arm movably connected to the carriage, the C-arm including a cable management system having a housing disposed on the carriage, the housing defining an interior, a number of cables extending from the base into the interior of the housing, a cable chain having a first end secured within the interior of the housing and a second end affixed to the C-arm, the cable chain defining a channel therein that receives the number of cables to direct the number of cables from the base to the C-arm. The cable management system operate to retain the number of cables in alignment with the C-arm in any orientation of the C-arm relative to the base.

A control device which allows an operator/user to follow the user's anatomical movement by following natural hand rotation, includes two independent detection sensors or sensor portions embedded in two different parts of the device, one in a fixed part and one in a mobile or rotative part, with resistance to mutual disturbance between the two. The device includes a knob portion rotatable about an axis of rotation, at least one sensor configured to sense a rotational position of the knob in relation to the axis of rotation, circuitry adapted to at least provide electrical power to the rotative knob portion, circuitry adapted to transmit the sensed rotational position of the knob, and a base portion rotatably coupled to the knob portion.

Various methods and systems are provided for a mobile x-ray imaging system. In one embodiment, a system includes a gantry with an x-ray source and an x-ray detector mounted thereon opposite each other, a carrier coupled to the gantry and configured to rotate the gantry relative to the carrier, and a robotic arm coupling the carrier to a base, the robotic arm comprising at least three links and four joints.

A system with a clamping device attached to a clamping object is provided. One example clamping device includes a clamping jaw configured to pivot about a hinge and including a first clamping arm configured to interface with a first side of a clamping object and a body including a second clamping arm configured to interface with a second side of the clamping object, where the second side opposes the first side. The clamping device further includes a knob including a pin configured to axially translate toward and away from a third side of the clamping object, where the third side extends between the first side and the second side of the clamping object.
