The present disclosure provides a flow control valve for controlling the flow of a cleaning media, such as controlling the flow of cleaning media to a nozzle positioned to distribute the cleaning media to a vehicle surface. The nozzle is integrated with the flow control valve. Vehicles and systems incorporating a flow control valve are also provided.

Flow control valve and system for cleaning a vehicle surface

The present disclosure provides a flow control valve for controlling the flow of a cleaning media, such as controlling the flow of cleaning media to a nozzle positioned to distribute the cleaning media to a vehicle surface. The flow control valve includes a plunger and a flexible diaphragm which operate to open and close the a fluid passage through the valve. Vehicles and systems incorporating a flow control valve are also provided.

The present disclosure provides an adaptor with a quick connect coupling for joining a flow control valve, or other device, with a source of fluid media. The adaptor includes a female connector configured to receive a male connector and a locking member slidable in a transverse direction to lock the connectors together. The adaptor can handle multiple fluid media, and accordingly includes a plurality of inlets and a plurality of outlets for the passage of fluid media through the adaptor. Vehicles and systems incorporating the adaptor are also disclosed.

Threaded pin made of a starting material, wherein the threaded pin comprises a base, a tip portion, which is spaced apart from the base in the direction of a longitudinal axis of the threaded pin, wherein the tip portion comprises a bridge portion, and a first side wall with an outer profile, said first side wall extending from the bridge portion to a first base part, and a second side wall with an outer profile, said second side wall extending from the bridge portion to a second base part, wherein the first side wall is formed from a different part of the starting material to the second side wall and the first base part is formed from a different part of the starting material to the second base part, wherein part of the first part is in engagement with part of the second base part, and/or part of the first base part is connected to part of the second base part, wherein, as an alternative or in addition, part of the first side wall is in engagement with part of the second side wall, and/or, in addition, part of the first side wall is connected to part of the second side wall.
