An assembly includes a bag and of a composite panel exhibiting a damaged region to be repaired by polymerization of a repair piece using the bag. The bag includes a sheet intended to be laid over the panel. When the panel and the sheet are laid one atop of the other, the sheet exhibits regions capable of absorbing heat emitted by radiation onto it in a proportion that is dependent on the polymerization temperature needed for that region of the panel that corresponds to it, the radiation being partially absorbed by suitable colouration of the sheet in the region concerned. Determining those regions of the panel in which radiation is less well absorbed than in others means that the heating can be adapted to suit the needs of polymerization in terms of repair and that even polymerization can thus be obtained over the entire damaged region, thereby consolidating the repair.

A bumper for a vehicle, comprising at least one part made of resilient material, having a curved front portion forming an inner cavity. The front portion has apertures enabling the cavity to be put into communication with the exterior of the resilient part. At least one marking fluid cell is provided inside the cavity. A fastener is provided to fasten the one part to the vehicle.

A vehicle bumper comprising at least one part made of resilient material, in the interior of which there is provided at least one marking fluid cell with an opening to the exterior. The opening is closed by a closure device which, under the effect of a pressure applied with a determined intensity, can open up the opening, allowing the marking fluid to access the exterior of the cell through which the marking fluid can flow, and also comprising a securing element configured to secure the at least one part on the vehicle.

A method and a tool for repairing a composite-material panel of an aircraft with at least one repair part made of composite material without using an autoclave. The repair method includes the steps of preparing the panel, placing at least one repair part made of composite material on the second face to cover a damaged zone, positioning a vacuum bag configured to sealingly cover the repair part, polymerizing or consolidating the repair part, compressing the vacuum bag against the repair part using a compression plate concomitantly with the step in which the repair part is polymerized or consolidated.

Method for repairing a composite-material panel of an aircraft and tool for implementing said method

A method for disassembling two ultrasonically welded elements, one of the elements comprising, at a surface opposite the other element, an energy director that concentrates the heating during ultrasonic welding and forms a material junction between the two assembled elements after the ultrasonic welding. The method includes the steps of positioning a wire between the two assembled elements, so as to be secant to the energy director, said wire having suitable mechanical characteristics allowing it to cut the junction formed by the energy director and moving the wire between the two assembled elements so as to cut said junction.

A weaving process for direct manufacture of three-dimensional structures with bidimensional walls with corners, without the need for sewing or other assembly between two ridges. The weaving is made by transforming weft threads into warp threads for making at least one face. The process is particularly adapted for the weaving of reinforcing elements for composite structures of corner fitting type.

Three-dimensional surface weaving

A fiber structure that can be embedded in a matrix for obtaining a piece made of composite material, includes a first fiber element having a first support surface, at least one L-shaped fiber element having a base that is flattened against the support surface of the first fiber element at a junction zone and a wing that is not flattened against the first fiber element, and another fiber element having one part flattened against the wing of the at least one L-shaped fiber element. The elements are assembled by tapping fibers from a second surface of the first fiber element so as to form loops, at least certain fibers being oblique relative to the second surface, in a plane that is perpendicular to the junction zone, wherein certain loops of the oblique fibers protrude to the outside of the outer surface of a wing of at least one L-shaped fiber element.

Assembly of fibrous elements for obtaining a part made of a composite

A weaving method that makes it possible to directly produce three-dimensional structures having two-dimensional walls with corners, without requiring sewing or other joining between two edges. The weave is created by turning weft threads () into warp threads to create at least one face. The method is particularly suitable for weaving reinforcing pieces for composite structures such as three-dimensional corner reinforcements.

A weaving loom including a mechanism drawing-in threads, for insertion of picks, and for formation of a weaving shed, so as to render possible formation of a continuous angle or corner by a thread during weaving. The loom preferably also includes a vertical offset system, so that it is possible to weave a three-dimensional surfacic structure, the threads of which are continuous between the faces and at the level of the edges. The loom can be configured particularly for manufacture of continuous tridedral corners that are used as reinforcements for composite structures.
