A shoe support structure comprising a hard rubber-like material and a gel material. The rubber-like material is constructed so that it has a change in thickness beginning at the arch, where it slopes down, leveling out at a thickness of about 1&#xbc; inches. This change in thickness creates a frontal recess, leaving a bead of rubber at the outer edge. This cavity holds a thick cushion of about 1&#xbe; inches of highly viscous gel material held in place by the rubber lip and adhered to the elastic material. This creates a cushion when the foot applies weight. The front of the sole and the back of the heel are equal in height, giving the entire surface equal height planes for balance. The two materials are one rubber like, one gel like and slope toward each other at the arch in identical angles.

A shoe has an insole having a heel in a customary supportive hard rubber-like material about 3 inches thick. The same rubber-like material surrounds the entire sole with a change in thickness beginning at the arch, where it slopes down, leveling out at a thickness of about 1&#xbc; inches. A method and apparatus for tooling and locking a handle to a pedicure blade is disclosed. The method and apparatus member presents an entire surface of the pedicure member to be available for use, the curving of the surface allows easy access to calluses in hard to reach areas, the blade thus may be sanitized in a disinfectant and the size of the blade is more convenient for storage.

A dispenser brush applicator which may be used advantageously for applying a liquid and powder combination acrylic to nail surfaces. The applicator comprises a plastic squeeze bottle having an open end enclosed by a brush member. The brush member has a cap terminating in a conically-shaped bristle holder that is generally hollow and is plugged at its base end with a channeled plug. A passage in the plug meters a controllable amount of liquid out of the squeeze bottle. The other end of the holder has a staple through which a plurality of bristles are looped, their free ends extending through the holder at a reduction aperture, the free ends generally terminating at a common plane a selected distance from the bottle. When the bottle is partially or completely filled with a liquid, the bottle may be squeezed thereby forcing the liquid through the plug and into contact with the bristles. The liquid is forced out of the plug along the bristles, soaking the bristles whereby the liquid may collect the powder necessary to complete the acrylic product application to the nail surface when that surface is contacted by the wetted bristles.

A cuticle pusher manicuring appliance which employs a pusher head having an upper member and a lower member with a rounded slot therebetween. The cuticle is captured in the slot while it is being pushed by the appliance. The lower member lifts the edge of the cuticle a precise distance from the nail surface while the upper member prevents the cuticle edge from being lifted above the slot. The dome structure of the upper member acts as an inhibitor, stopping the edge of the pusher from invading the matrix of the nail, a delicate area where the nail cells are produced.
