A system and a method are respectively for positioning an examination object and evaluation of an image with respect to a positioning of a breast of an examination object in relation to an x-ray device. In an embodiment, the system includes an x-ray device including at least one compression device to fix a breast of the examination object; at least one camera, arranged in relation to the x-ray device such that images are acquirable via the at least one camera, the images showing a current positioning of the breast of the examination object in relation to the x-ray device; and at least one display device, embodied to display the images.

A biopsy unit is for fixing to a mammography device. In an embodiment, the biopsy unit includes a fixing device and a receptacle for a biopsy needle. The biopsy unit is permanently connectable to the mammography device, and wherein the biopsy unit is pivotable between a rest state and an operating state.

A medical system includes a plurality of movable elements, a first control element for controlling a first type of movement and at least one further control element for controlling a further type of movement. The first control element is assigned to a first number of movable elements for controlling the first type of movement and the further control elements are assigned to a further number of movable elements for controlling the further type of movement. The control elements each include an input unit having at least two selection elements for selecting the movable element to be controlled.

Medical system

In a method to control movements of a medical apparatus via a control device with a touch-sensitive display, an apparatus component of the medical apparatus is selected and; and move the selected apparatus component is moved according to commands made at the touch-sensitive display. A safety loop must be closed in order to activate the movement of the apparatus component. A control device to control a medical apparatus, and a medical apparatus having at least one apparatus component, operate according to this method.
