A method of determining the frequencies of a golf club entails suspending the golf club in a substantial free state and thereafter striking or engaging the golf club to cause the same to vibrate or oscillate. Once the golf club has been excited, the method entails measuring the natural frequencies of the golf club. More particularly, in the substantial free state, the club is suspended by a flexible connector which is secured to the grip end of the club.

Method of dynamically determining the relative stiffness of a golf shaft

A system and method for fitting a golfer with one or more golf clubs. The system or method comprises measuring one or more swing characteristics of a golfer and selecting a swing coefficient that is a function of one or more measured swing characteristics of the golfer. Thereafter fitting the golfer with one or more golf clubs based on a correlation between the swing coefficient and the natural frequency of the golf club selected.

Method for club fitting

The present invention entails a golf club head having a face, back sole and a leading edge extending between the sole and the face. The sole is shaped such that there are three distinct and separate Surfaces defined thereon. There is an intermediate surface formed on the sole that forms a plateau. On each side of the intermediate plateau there is defined on the sole an outer surface area. One outer surface area breaks away from the plateau and extends generally upwardly towards both the leading edge and the heel of the club. The other outer surface breaks away from the plateau and extends generally upwardly towards the leading edge and the toe area of the club.

Golf club head

A control system is provided to control the liquid level in the pressure vessel of a hydrogen generator by means of three electrical probes which extend into the vessel and are electrically connected through an amplifier and switching circuit to a liquid supply pump, a solenoid valve on the hydrogen removal line and a generator power supply.

Liquid level control system

Pressurized impure hydrogen gas from a hydrogen generator, bottled hydrogen, or other source is fed to a separate palladium purifier unit having an ultrapure hydrogen output for analytical use, and the like. A palladium-silver tube is inserted into a jacket tube to form a tube assembly which is coiled around a heated block. The jacket tube receives the impure hydrogen and the palladium-silver tube passes pure hydrogen which is transferred to an outlet for use with the gas impurities being discharged at a vent end of the jacket tube.

Hydrogen purifier

The pressure vessel of a hydrogen generator is provided with closely-spaced cylindrical screen electrodes and a dielectric coating on the vessel's internal surfaces in order to improve generator efficiency and life.
