A control system for a flush toilet includes a water delivery device for delivering a source of flush water to a bowl. The control system includes a controller and a user interface. The controller is operative to control the toilet through a flush sequence in a first mode and a second mode. In the first mode, the controller opens the water delivery device to deliver a predetermined amount of water to the bowl. In the second mode, the controller opens the water delivery device to deliver a user adjustable amount of water to the bowl. The user interface is in communication with the controller for selecting between the first mode and the second mode. Where the toilet is a macerator toilet, the controller monitors current draw unit when the current draw satisfies a predetermined current condition. The controller may operate in a normal mode and a lockout mode.

Flush toilet control system and related method

A sensor device mountable on a threaded valve stem of an inflatable tire of a vehicle having an actuating pin adapted to be depressed by a component of an air gauge or a connecting fixture of a compressed air line, generally consisting of a housing defining a closed chamber, having a first threaded opening permitting such housing to be threaded onto the valve stem, and a second opening; an abutment pin disposed in the housing engageable with the actuating pin of the valve stem for depressing the actuating pin of the valve stem and thereby opening the valve stem when the housing is threaded onto the valve stem, providing an intercommunication of the interiors of the tire and the housing; a valve disposed in the second opening of the housing having an actuating pin adapted to be depressed by the component of an air gauge or connecting fixture of a compressed air line; a sensor mounted in the housing for sensing the pressure in the housing chamber; a microcontroller connected to the pressure sensor for receiving and processing signals therefrom corresponding to sensed pressures; and a transmitter mounted on the housing and coupled to the processor for transmitting processed signals corresponding to sensed pressures.

Tire condition monitoring system with improved sensor means

A system for displaying dynamic readings of a motor vehicle's tire pressure, temperature and tire ride efficiency comprises individual integrated units that are removably attached to each valve stem. Each unit comprises a pressure sensor and a temperature sensor coupled to a microcontroller which activates a transmitter/receiver set with a measured signal. The signal is received by a transmitter/receiver set in a passenger compartment mounted display which feeds a signal through a microcontroller to the display unit. In operation, theft prevention serial numbers of the remote sensors are entered in the display unit. Each individual sensor may then be queried sequentially with the appropriate serial number to provide a pressure and temperature reading for a particular tire as well as battery condition. The readings and warning signals are activated in the display unit.

Motor vehicle tire pressure and temperature sensing system

A power antenna drive cable seal has a dynamic response to cable winding direction that allows the cable to slide through freely on the up stroke, when it is under compression, but which vigorously scrapes the cable on the down strike, when it is under tension. The seal is a resilient, bellows shaped unit with a flared throat that changes from a divergent, cable passing shape to a convergent, cable grabbing shape. the shape change is caused by the axial force of the cable changing direction.

Power antenna drive cable seal

An automatic vehicle headlamp dimming control is the type having an operator controlled first voltage divider across a power supply, a light sensitive resistance connected in electrical series with an electrically controlled variable resistance in a second voltage divider across the output of the first voltage divider, an energizing circuit adapted to energize the headlamp system from the power supply at high or low intensity in response to the output of the second voltage divider compared to a fixed reference voltage and first electric feedback means from the energizing circuit to the electrically controlled variable resistance for producing hysteresis feedback. The invention adds to this control a resistance between the output of the first voltage divider and the second divider to decouple the same, a capacitor in series with the second voltage divider and supply voltage, and second electric feedback means from the energizing circuit to the junction of the capacitor and second voltage divider for causing charging and discharging of the capacitor with switching between high and low headlamp intensity to produce a gradual change in the output of the second voltage divider counter to the hysteresis feedback. The circuit helps reduce the undesirable sensitivity effects of hysteresis feedback, photocell memory and misaligned sensors or headlamps.
