This disclosure describes techniques for enabling dynamic adjustment of a wake interval frequency based on detection of a prioritization event. In embodiments, such techniques may comprise operating a STA device in a first mode in which wake intervals recur after a first amount of time and receiving, by the STA device from a AP device, information about a prioritization event. Based on receiving the information, the techniques may further involve operating the STA device in a second mode in which wake intervals recur after a second amount of time and, based on determining that the prioritization event has ended, operating the STA device in the first mode.

Systems and techniques are described for motion detection. In various examples, a camera device may initiate execution of a non-computer vision-based motion detection process. In some examples, the camera device may initiate execution of a computer vision-based classification process during the execution of the non-computer vision-based motion detection process. In various examples, first result data may be determined by the non-computer vision-based motion detection process. In various examples, the execution of the computer vision-based classification process may be terminated based at least in part on the first result data.

On-device motion detection

Provided herein are techniques for enabling communications between an access point (AP) and a number of stations (STAs) while maximizing transmission quality and/or minimizing power consumption. For example, an STA may be associated with a camera device used to capture video data and transmit the video data to the AP, and the AP may be configured to receive a registration request from the STA, register the STA, receive video data from the STA, and transmit the video data to a backend system such as a storage server. In some cases, the AP and STAs may communicate using a communication bandwidth that is sub-GHz but has a higher bandwidth relative to the low-bandwidth sub-GHz communication protocols discussed above. An example of such a high-bandwidth sub-GHz communication protocol is one that supports data transmission (e.g., video data transmission) using a bandwidth of 900 megahertz (MHz).
