A vehicular vision system includes a camera disposed at a vehicle and having a field of view exterior of the vehicle, a light source disposed at the vehicle and operable to emit light, and a control. Light emitted by the light source, when operated, illuminates a field of illumination exterior of the vehicle, with the field of view of the camera encompassing at least a portion of the field of illumination. The control, responsive to data processing by a processor of the control of image data captured by the camera, determines a change in the field of illumination provided by the light source. Responsive to the determined change in the field of illumination, the control at least one selected from the group of (i) adjusts the light source to accommodate the determined change, (ii) adjusts the camera to accommodate the determined change and (iii) generates an alert.

Vehicle vision system with self-calibrating imager

A vehicular vision system includes a camera disposed at a vehicle and having a field of view rearward of the vehicle, a light source disposed at the vehicle and operable to emit light, and a control including an image processor. The control, responsive to detection of the object present in the field of view of the camera, determines a region of the field of view of the camera at which a detected object is located. The control determines an illumination level at the detected object and, responsive to the determined illumination level at the detected object being greater than an upper threshold level or less than a lower threshold level, controls the respective individually controllable light segment of the light source for that region of the field of view of the camera at which the detected object is located to adjust intensity of light emitted by that light segment.

Vehicle vision system with adaptive reversing light

A method and a circuit arrangement for feeding n LED units (LEDto LED) of a lighting unit of a motor vehicle by way of a controlled power source () from a voltage source () having a fluctuating operating voltage (U), in which the LED units (LEDto LED) are interconnected, and in particular k LED units (LEDto LED) of a series connection are short-circuited, when the operating voltage (U) drops, taking a stored weighting with respect to the priority assigned to individual LED units into consideration, wherein current continues to flow simultaneously through (n&#x2212;k) LED units. A memory unit () for storing information about weightings on the priority of certain LED units is assigned to the control unit () for activating the power source, a switching matrix (', Sto S), and in particular a circuit arrangement composed of n controlled switches (Sto S) that each bypass the LED units (LEDto LED, LED) is provided, and the control unit () is configured to compared the operating voltage and/or the current (I) of the power source to predefinable threshold values and to interconnect the LED units as a function of this comparison and the weighting.
