The present disclosure relates to an isolation gown. In particular, the present disclosure relates to an isolation gown, comprising a garment body including opening running a length of the garment body and terminating at a neck opening, the garment body having a first side and a second side and being configured to permit a wearer to don the medical gown, sleeves extending distally from the garment body, and one or more restraining mechanisms configured to secure the garment body, the sleeves, or a combination thereof, to a body of the wearer, wherein the one or more restraining mechanisms including an actuatable portion utilizing friction to allow the neck opening of the garment body to be contracted to a size of a neck of the wearer, and expanded to be larger than a shoulder width of the wearer.

Isolation gown with adjustable neck closure

A garment for assisting a user holding an infant is provided. The garment may include a first portion, a second portion, a first sleeve, and a second sleeve. The second portion may be configured to overlap the first portion when the garment is worn by the user. The first sleeve and the second sleeve may each extend from the first portion and the second portion, respectively. The first portion may define an elongated opening. The elongated opening may be positioned to provide access through the opening and to the infant from the outside of the garment while the first portion remains covered by the second portion. The garment may also include at least one fastener attached thereto. The at least one fastener may be positioned relative to the opening and may comprise at least one loop to secure at least part of a tubing or wire extending from the infant. The garment may also comprise a locking mechanism that can adjust the loop to the size of the tubing.

Garment for assisting holding an infant

An adapter system for facilitating collection of colostrum from a breast may include an adapter, a removable reservoir and a hand-expression funnel. The adapter may include a first open end for connecting to a breast shield of a breast pump system, a second open end for connecting to a breast pump connector of the breast pump system, and a third open end, disposed between the first and second open ends. The removable reservoir may include a wide end for removably attaching to the third open end and a narrow end for attaching to a colostrum delivery device. The hand-expression funnel may include a wide end for receiving colostrum and a narrow end for attaching to the colostrum delivery device. In some embodiments, the colostrum delivery device is a syringe.

Colostrum collection system

A delayed cord-clamping surface is provided that includes a newborn platform having a recessed surface configured to receive a chemical warming mattress, where the chemical warming mattress includes a conformable surface, where the newborn platform includes a detachable platform support that is configured to position the newborn platform proximal to a surgical region of a C-section patient, where the newborn platform is configured to support a newborn baby while an umbilical cord remains connected between the newborn and the C-section patient for draining from a placenta, where the newborn platform is configured to fitably mount with a warming table when the newborn platform is in a detached state from the detachable platform support.

Delayed cord clamping system

An adapter for use in a system for collecting colostrum and/or milk from a breast may include: a body having a predominantly cylindrical shape; a first open end of the body for connecting to a funnel device; a second open end of the body for connecting to a source of suction; a side port between the first and second ends for connecting to a fluid collection device; a catchment area at or near the side port; and a blocking member between the side port and the second end, for preventing colostrum from passing beyond the side port and through the second end. The blocking member may include at least one aperture for allowing suction force to be transmitted from the second end to the first end.

Connector for collection and dispensing of breast milk or colostrum

An adapter for use in a system for collecting colostrum and/or breast milk may include: a body having a predominantly cylindrical shape; a first open end of the body for connecting to a funnel device; a second open end of the body for connecting to a source of suction; a blocking member inside the body, between the first open end and the second open end; an aperture in the blocking member to allow suction force applied at the second open end to generate suction at the first open end; a reservoir extending off of a side of the body, between the first open end and the blocking member; and a port disposed on the distal end of the reservoir for connecting the adapter to a fluid collection device.

A device for collecting colostrum from a breast of a human and dispensing the colostrum to a newborn may include a colostrum collection member and a plunger. The colostrum collection member may include a funnel-shaped proximal portion with a wide, open end for facilitating collection of expressed colostrum, a narrow distal portion with a small-diameter opening for dispensing the expressed colostrum to the newborn, and a cylindrical barrel portion between the funnel-shaped proximal portion and the narrow distal portion. The plunger is configured for advancement through the wide, open end and the barrel portion of the collection member to force the colostrum out of the small-diameter opening.

Device and method for collecting and dispensing colostrum

A method of using a system to collect colostrum from a breast of a human and using at least part of the system to dispense the colostrum to an newborn involves: coupling an interface member with a suction member to form at least part of the system; positioning the interface member in contact with or near the breast; expressing colostrum from the breast, into the interface member; applying suction force to the interface member, using the suction member, to draw the colostrum into the suction member; detaching the interface member from the suction member; and dispensing the colostrum to the newborn from the suction member.

A method of collecting colostrum from a breast of a human and dispensing the colostrum to a newborn may involve: coupling a first end of an adapter with a syringe; positioning a second end of the adapter in contact with or near the breast; manually expressing colostrum from the breast into the second end of the adapter; coupling the second end of the adapter with a breast pump shield; expressing colostrum from the breast, using the breast pump shield and a breast pump system attached to the breast pump shield; retracting a plunger of the syringe to cause the colostrum to move into the syringe from the adapter; detaching the adapter from the first end of the syringe; and dispensing the colostrum to the newborn from the syringe.
