Apparatuses, methods, and computer program products for determining the effect of advertising are provided. Advertisement data is gathered at the location of an advertisement regarding the identity of the consumer exposed to the advertisement (the target), as well as the subject matter of the advertisement, by detecting the proximity of the target to the advertisement location, for example by using the target's mobile terminal. Shopping data is gathered at the location of a commercial establishment regarding the identity of the consumer engaged in the shopping activity (the shopper), as well as the subject matter of the shopping activity, by detecting the proximity of the shopper to the commercial establishment location, for example by using the shopper's mobile terminal. The data is received by a correlation server and analyzed to determine the effect of advertisements on a consumer.

In accordance with at least one embodiment, UPnP or DLNA compliant devices may utilize a user's home network to access a user's media library from on an online media service. The media service may provide a user interface to the device to enable the user to access his media library. The media may be stored on a networked storage device connected to the media service, on the user's network devices, on the user's WCD, etc. The media service may automatically query the user's WCD to determine the presence of other persons in his proximity, and determine their preferences. A customized media stream that is suitable for the whole group may be generated based at least in part on the combined preferences of the group.

One or more peer nodes determine scheduling information relating to when the peer nodes can utilize a predetermined level of communication capacity for sharing a computer resource (e.g., sharing content).
