Power electronics device, such as a frequency converter, comprising power units (REC, INU, INU, CDC), a metal frame () and a DC bus arrangement in which the power units are connected. The power units may be assembled inside the metal frame () wherein the shape of the metal frame is elongated with rectangular cross-sectional shape, consisting of a bottom part () and from that essentially vertical oriented side wall parts (). The DC bus arrangement is arranged on top of the bottom part () of the metal frame () and separated by an insulator layer (S) from the metal frame (). The DC bus arrangement comprises a first DC bus current conductor (DC+) and a second DC bus current conductor (DC&#x2212;) which are arranged apart from each other. The DC bus current conductors (DC+, DC&#x2212;) have a flat shape in such a way that their thickness dimension is essentially shorter than their width dimension.

Arrangement for oscillation dampening

Arrangement for cooling, with liquid, one or more electrical devices or structural units of an electrical device that is/are in at least one installation enclosure. A main channeling includes two channels, for distributing the liquid to the electrical devices to be cooled or to the structural units of the electrical devices, a liquid container, which is connected to one of the main channels directly and to the other main channel via a suction channel a pump and a heat exchanger, and also a shut-off valve. The liquid container is disposed below the electrical devices to be cooled or their structural elements, and the amount of liquid to be contained in the arrangement is configured to be such the ends of both the suction channel and the return channel that are inside the liquid container are always situated below the liquid surface.

Liquid cooling arrangement

Power electronics device, such as a frequency converter, which includes liquid-cooled power units (REC, REC, AFE, AFE, INU, INU, DC/DC, DC/AC) and also a substrate arrangement. The power units include at least one power semiconductor component, e.g. an IGBT or a diode, connected to at least one power circuit connecting them. The power units are mechanically separate and they are disposed on at least one substrate provided with liquid cooling ducts. The substrate is common to more than one power unit, wherein the substrate includes liquid cooling interfaces and power circuit interfaces for each power unit that can be connected to it. In addition, the substrate includes one liquid cooling interface and one power circuit interface (DC+, DC&#x2212;) to outside the substrate.

Power electronics device

Liquid-cooled power unit of a power electronics device, which power unit includes at least two power modules, the cooling surface of which power modules is provided with pin-type protrusions and which power modules are fixed to the frame part of the power unit. A liquid duct is arranged inside the frame part of the power unit, and the power modules are fixed to the points of the apertures situated in the frame part on both sides of the liquid duct in such a way that the pin-type protrusions of the power modules are situated in the liquid duct. A wedge-shaped part is disposed in the liquid duct, which wedge-shaped part includes a wedge-shaped front part for spreading the liquid flow into two essentially equal flows at the point of the power modules.

Power electronics device and its cooling arrangement

An arrangement for fastening a capacitor to an electrotechnical device and for protecting the capacitor from stresses caused by the environment. The arrangement includes a disk-like frame, one or more openings pierced in the frame, a capacitor to be fastened to each opening and one or more substantially hollow domed fastening and protection means, inside of which one of the capacitors is arranged, wherein each of the fastening and protection means is arranged into one of the openings in the frame.

The present invention relates to a frequency converter comprising a power part and a control and adjustment part. The frequency converter is characterized in that the control and adjustment part is arranged to be a separate control and adjustment unit separated from the power part and in that the control and adjustment unit forming the control and adjustment part is arranged to be connected to the power part by a telecommunication unit. The telecommunication unit is a wired optic connection or a wireless connection, the control and adjustment part and the power part then being galvanically separated.
