A drilling device for drilling a hole in the ground and/or rock and having in its drilling head a plurality of drilling wing bits arranged at equal distribution with their mutual position being adjustable such that the wing bits are located within a minimum diameter dimension and, on the other hand, adjustable such that they are located to drill a hole with a maximum size diameter and that the drilling device is arranged to pull, during drilling, a protective pipe into the hole at least when drilling the hole in the ground. An outer circumference of the wing bits includes a circumferential groove arranged to receive a ring belonging to a front part of the protective pipe, to an inner surface thereof, when the wing bits are adjusted to a diameter size substantially larger than the minimum diameter dimension in order to pull the protective pipe via the wing bits.

Drilling device

A hammering and rotatable drill bit, which is meant for ground and rock drilling includes a hollow shaft having a hole that is adjusted to direct flushing air onto the drilling surface to the front of the drill bit and further from there towards the outer edge of the drill bit. the drill bit includes a drilling part which protrudes from the surface of the drill bit, functions as a drill point and drills the mid-area of the hole to be created wherein the mentioned part is adjusted to prevent the flushing flow from flowing directly through the mentioned hole located inside the shaft onto the drilling surface. The mentioned part is arranged to allow the outlet of the flushing flow in a sideways direction to the grooves belonging to the drilling surface, which grooves lead to the edge of the drill bit, and is arranged to allow the outlet also partly to the front of the drill bit to the drilling surface by adjusting the groove, which leads to the edge of the drill bit, to start from the mentioned part from such a distance (d) from the center line (L) of the drill bit which distance (d) is less than the radius (R) of the hole.

Hammering and rotatable drill bit

A method and apparatus for down-the-hole drilling. The drilling is carried out by a drilling device including a casing and a drilling unit. The drilling head includes a first drill for drilling a center hole, a second drill for reaming the center hole and a flushing flow arrangement including a first flusher for leading a flushing medium onto a drilling surface and a second flusher for returning of the flushing medium and drilling waste inside the casing. The first drill is removably coupled with the second drill to enable removal thereof from the hole. The casing is arranged to be drawn into a hole to be drilled by the drilling unit. The flushing medium is brought onto the drilling surface and returned therefrom by axially directed flow arrangements disposed in a cross-section view on an outer periphery of the first drill and/or in an inner periphery of the second drill.

Method and apparatus for down-the-hole drilling

A communications system for providing services to communication terminals, each terminal being addressable by means of an address, the communications system comprising: a service provision unit for providing services to the terminals; and a service data storage unit for storing a set of service provision definitions, each service provision definition comprising a service field storing an indication of a service and an address field storing an expression specifying the address of one or more of the terminals; and a service logic unit arranged to receive communications in the system and compare an address specified in a communication with the expressions stored in the address field of each of the service provision definitions and on the basis of that comparison causing the service provision unit to provide a service to the terminal identified by the said address.

Providing services to groups of subscribers

A method, telecommunication system, and a service control point is provided for monitoring the load situation of the service control point during the initiation of a service logic controlling the connection, particularly when the control point cannot restrict the service requests. The load situation may be monitored by maintaining a first data item in the control point, which indicates if the control point is overloaded. When an operation requesting the initiation of a service logic is received, a check is made to determine if the control point is overloaded. The service logic is initiated if the control point is not overloaded.

Initiating service logic

The present invention relates to charging of communications using chargeable resources of a first communication system and a second communication system wherein at least one of said communication systems provides wireless communication services. In accordance with the method, after a set-up procedure for communications initiated a first procedure for obtaining a first charging component is triggered, the first charging component being associated with the first communication system and determined based on a first charging model. If required, a second procedure for obtaining a second charging component is also triggered, the second charging component being associated with the second communication system and determined based on a second charging model. Information associated with the communications in the first and second communication systems is processed simultaneously to obtain the respective first and second charging components. The first and second charging components are combined to obtain a total charge. A prepaid balance is then decreased during the communications based on the total charge.
