A wire antenna comprises a main radiating element, a grounding element, a shorting element, and a coaxial cable. The said main radiating element and the said grounding element are linked by the said shorting element. A central conducting wire and an outer grounding conductor of the coaxial cable are electrically connected to the first and the second points on the said main radiating element and the said grounding element respectively. The main radiating element and the grounding element are all made of a single metal wire with compact size and low cost. The present invention is capable of single or dual-band operation for applications in WLAN devices.

Wire antenna

The invention relates to a dual-feed antenna. The dual-feed antenna includes a substrate, a first antenna unit and a second antenna unit. The second antenna unit includes a second radiating unit and a second grounding unit. The second radiating unit includes a second radiator which has a first groove. The first groove has a first bottom and a pair of first arms. The second grounding unit includes a first sub-grounding-area and a second sub-grounding-area. The second sub-grounding-area has a second groove which includes a second bottom and a pair of second arms. The first sub-grounding-area is cross-wise connected with the second sub-grounding-area at the bottom of the groove, and the second arms symmetrically distribute to both sides of the first sub-grounding-area, and the first groove has an opening direction opposite to the opening direction of the second groove.

Dual-feed antenna

A multi-input and multi-output antenna system is disclosed. The antenna system includes a predetermined quantity of dual-feed and dual-band antennas that are arranged into a polygon on a plane. The dual-feed and dual-band antenna includes a substrate, a grounding unit disposed on the substrate and having two opposite sides, a first radiating unit disposed on the substrate near one side of the grounding unit, and a second radiating unit disposed on the substrate near the other side. The second radiating unit has a shorting element that is electrically connected to the grounding unit. The polygon is bounded by lengthwise projection lines of the dual-feed and dual-band antennas.

Multi-input multi-output antenna system

The present invention is related to a shorted monopole antenna. The antenna includes a ground portion, a radiating portion, a shorting portion, an assembling portion, and a coaxial cable. The ground portion includes a signal grounding point. The radiating portion is located above the ground portion and bent at least once, and includes a signal feeding point. One end of the shorting portion is connected to one of the short edges of the ground portion, and the other end is connected to one edge portion of the radiating portion. The assembling portion is connected to the long edge of the ground portion. The coaxial cable includes an inner conductor and an outer conductor, which are connected to the signal feeding point and the signal grounding point respectively. The antenna invented has good impedance bandwidth and radiation characteristics, can easily be installed inside the housing of an electronic device, and is well suitable for applications in wireless communications devices.

Shorted monopole antenna

A dual-feed and dual-band antenna includes a substrate, a grounding unit disposed on the substrate and having two opposite sides, a first radiating unit disposed on the substrate near the first side of the grounding unit, and a second radiating unit disposed on the substrate near the second side. The second radiating unit has a short-circuit strip electrically connected to the grounding unit. The antenna further includes a first coaxial cable electrically connected to the first radiating unit and the grounding unit, and a second coaxial cable electrically connected to the second radiating unit and the grounding unit.

Dual-feed and dual-band antenna

An antenna device includes a first conductive piece, a second conductive piece, a third conductive piece and a feeding point. The second conductive piece is electrically coupled to a predetermined voltage level. The third conductive piece is electrically connected to the first conductive piece and the second conductive piece. The feeding point is located on the first conductive piece.

Antenna device and antenna system utilizing said antenna device

An ultra-wide band (UWB) antenna and a plug-and-play (PnP) device using the same are provided. A dielectric substrate of the PnP device has a ground plane. The UWB antenna includes a radiating metal plate and a feeding portion. The radiating metal plate is in a non-ground region of the dielectric substrate and has at least a slit cut. An opening of the slit cut is at the edge of the radiating metal plate facing the ground plane. The feeding portion is also at the edge of the radiating metal plate facing the ground plate for feeding a signal to the antenna.

Ultra-wide band antenna and plug-and-play device using the same

A dipole antenna device includes a first metal piece including at least one bending part and a first feeding point; a second metal piece including a second bending part and a second feeding point; and a third metal piece electrically connected to a first connection point of the first metal piece and a second connection point of the second metal piece; wherein the first metal piece and the second metal piece are not electrically connected to each other except the first connection point and the second connection point.

Dipole antenna device and dipole antenna system

An electronic device and short-circuited dipole antenna thereof are provided. The short-circuited dipole antenna comprises a first radiation unit, a second radiation unit and a short-circuited unit. The short-circuited unit comprises a first terminal connected to the first radiation unit, and a second terminal connected to the second radiation unit.

Electronic device and short-circuited dipole antenna thereof

An ultra-wideband antenna structure is provided. The ultra-wideband antenna structure includes a substrate with an edge, a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface; a ground surface mounted on the first surface; a radiating element mounted on the second surface and near the edge, and being a bent metal piece; and a short-circuited metal unit mounted on the first surface having a first end and a second end, wherein the first end is electrically connected to the ground surface and the second end is electrically connected to the radiating element.

Ultra-wideband antenna structure

A broadband dipole antenna includes a dielectric substrate, a first radiating portion, a second radiating portion, a substantially U-shaped or V-shaped feed gap, and two feed points. The feed gap is located in-between the first radiating portion and the second radiating portion. The two feed points are located in the first radiating portion and the second radiating portion, respectively, and separated by the feed gap.

Broadband dipole antenna

A broadband antenna is capable of generating an upper resonant mode (at about 700 MHz) from a first radiating arm and a lower resonant mode (at about 500 MHz) from a second radiating arm. The first and second radiating arms are bent at least one time. An open end of the second radiating arm is extended toward an open end of the first radiating arm with a predefined distance there between. The predefined distance can be adjusted to improve the impedance matching of lower resonant mode, which can be further combined with the upper resonant mode to achieve a broad bandwidth covering the complete spectrum of digital TV channels (470-862 MHz).

Two-branch broadband antenna

A dual-band dipole antenna includes two radiating arms and a short-circuited element. The two radiating arms and the short-circuited element are formed monolithically. Each radiating arm has a feed-in end and a radiating end. Each radiating arm has a slot that divides the radiating arm into a first radiating portion and a second radiating portion. The resonant frequencies of the first radiating portion and the second radiating portion are different to radiate/receive wireless signals in two frequencies respectively. The short-circuited element is connected to the feed-in end of each radiating arm, so as to electrically connect the two radiating arms. The short-circuited element also makes an included angle formed between the two radiating arms, so as to obtain the effect of dipole gains of the radio waves transferred or received by the two radiating arms.
