A display apparatus is provided. The display apparatus includes a display module and multiple light-emitting driving circuits. Each of the light-emitting driving circuits includes a timing control circuit and a driving circuit. The timing control circuit receives multiple clock signals and a previous light-emitting timing signal to provide a light-emitting timing signal and an internal voltage. The driving circuit receives a first phase signal among multiple phase signals and the internal voltage to provide a light-emitting driving signal to the display module based on the first phase signal and the internal voltage. The phase signals all present disabled levels during a vertical blank period.

Display apparatus

A fingerprint sensing device has a sensing area, an operation area, and a peripheral area, and the operation area is disposed between the sensing area and the peripheral area. The fingerprint sensing device includes a substrate, a sensing element located at the sensing area, an operation element located at the operation area, a first signal line located at the peripheral area, a first planarization layer, a first insulating layer, and a first shading layer. The first planarization layer is located on the substrate and has a first trench, and the first trench overlaps the first signal line. The first insulating layer is located on the first planarization layer and in the first trench, and the first insulating layer has a first opening located in the first trench. The first shading layer is located on the first insulating layer and connected to the first signal line through the first opening.

Fingerprint sensing device

A sensing device substrate includes a substrate and a sensing device. The sensing device is disposed on the substrate and includes a first electrode, a second electrode, a sensing layer, a conductive layer, and a first insulating layer. The first electrode is located on the substrate. The second electrode is overlapped with the first electrode. The sensing layer is located between the second electrode and the first electrode. The conductive layer is overlapped with the second electrode and electrically connected to the first electrode. The conductive layer has a first opening, and the first opening is overlapped with the sensing layer. The first insulating layer is located between the conductive layer and the second electrode. A display apparatus including the sensing device substrate is also provided.

Sensing device substrate and display apparatus having the same

The present disclosure provides a sensing circuit, including a photo-sensing component, a first transistor, and a temperature-sensing component. The photo-sensing component is configured to receive a light and transmit a first current according to an intensity of the light. A gate terminal of the first transistor is configured to receive a first control circuit. The photo-sensing component and the first transistor are coupled in series between first and second nodes. The temperature-sensing component is coupled between the first and second nodes and is configured to generate a second current according to a temperature. The temperature-sensing component includes a channel structure, a first gate, a second gate, and a light-shielding structure. The channel structure is configured to transmit the second current.

A light shielding element substrate includes a substrate, a transparent island structure and a first light shielding layer. The transparent island structure is located on the substrate. The first light shielding layer is located on the transparent island structure. The first light shielding layer is overlapping with a part of the top surface of the transparent island structure. The first light shielding layer has a first through hole overlapping the top surface of the transparent island structure.

Light shielding element substrate and display device

A display device adapted to perform in-screen fingerprint identification is provided. The display device includes a plurality of sub-pixel circuits, a plurality of light sensing circuit stages, and a plurality of sensing drive lines. The light sensing circuit stages correspond to the sub-pixel circuits. The sensing drive lines drive the light sensing circuit stages sequentially. In a first time interval, a first sensing drive line among the sensing drive lines provides a first sensing drive signal to a qlight sensing circuit stage and a latter light sensing circuit stage among the light sensing circuit stages. In the first time interval, the qlight sensing circuit stage performs a light sensing reset operation according to the first sensing drive signal, and the latter light sensing circuit stage performs a light sensing write operation according to the first sensing drive signal.

Display device for in-screen fingerprint identification

A display apparatus includes a first substrate, a plurality of pixel structures disposed on the first substrate, a light sensor disposed on the first substrate, an insulation layer disposed on the light sensor, a first light shielding pattern, a second substrate disposed opposite to the first substrate, a second light shielding pattern, and a display medium. Each pixel structure includes an active device and a pixel electrode electrically connected to the active device. The first light shielding pattern is disposed on the insulation layer and located above the light sensor. The second light shielding pattern is disposed on the second substrate and has an opening. The opening of the second light shielding pattern and the first light shielding pattern define at least one slit, and the at least one slit and the light sensor are partially overlapped. The display medium is disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate.

A shift register circuit includes a first dummy shift register, a second dummy shift register, multiple shift registers, multiple module selection switches, and multiple output selectors. The shift registers are connected in series between the first dummy shift register and the second dummy shift register, and are divided into a plurality of shift register groups. The module selection switches jointly receive a module selection signal, and are respectively coupled between the first dummy shift register and the shift register groups or between the shift register groups. The output selectors are respectively coupled between an output terminal of the corresponding one of the first dummy shift register, the shift registers, and the second dummy shift register, and a display panel and a fingerprint sensor module.

Shift register circuit

A display device includes an active display array, an optical sensor array, a first driving circuit, a second driving circuit, and a third driving circuit. The active display array includes a number of scan lines. The first driving circuit is coupled to a first portion of the scan lines through a first metal layer. The second driving circuit is coupled to a second portion of the scan lines through the first metal layer. The third driving circuit is disposed between the first driving circuit and the second driving circuit and is coupled to the optical sensor through a second metal layer. The second metal layer is different from the first metal layer.

Display device

A display device is disclosed. The display device comprises: a plurality of data lines are configured to receive a plurality of data voltages from a source driver, wherein the source driver is disposed in a non-display area of the display device; and a first multiplex switch is disposed in a display area of the display device and configured in response to a first multiplex signal, to provide a first data voltage of the data voltages to a first data line of the data lines.

Display device and operating method thereof

A pixel array substrate including a substrate, a plurality of first signal lines, a plurality of pixel structures, a plurality of second signal lines, a plurality of light sensing units, a plurality of third signal lines, and a plurality of touch units is provided. The first signal lines are arranged on the substrate along a first direction. The pixel structures are disposed between the first signal lines. The second signal lines are arranged on the substrate along the first direction. The light sensing units are disposed between the second signal lines. Any adjacent two of the light sensing units are electrically connected to one of the second signal lines and are symmetrically disposed with respect to the second signal line. The third signal lines and the second signal lines are alternately arranged on the substrate. The touch units are electrically connected to the third signal lines.

Pixel array substrate

A pixel array substrate including a substrate, a plurality of display pixels, a plurality of sensing pixels, and a read-out circuit is provided. The substrate includes a first region and a second region. The second region is located between the first region and an edge of the substrate. The display pixels are disposed on the first region and the second region of the substrate. The sensing pixels are disposed on the first region of the substrate. The read-out circuit is electrically connected to the sensing pixels. A portion of the read-out circuit is disposed on the second region of the substrate and the portion of the read-out circuit is located between two display pixels of the display pixels.

A fingerprint sensing device comprises a plurality of sensing pads, a plurality of data lines, a shielding layer, and a plurality of auxiliary voltage lines. The data lines are separately and electrically connected to the sensing pads, and configured to provide a sensing voltage to the sensing pads. The shielding layer is disposed between the sensing pad and the data lines. The auxiliary voltage lines are separately and electrically connected to the sensing pads, configured to provide an auxiliary voltage to the sensing pads. The auxiliary voltage is different from the sensing voltage. When a first sensing pad receives the sensing voltage, a second sensing pad adjacent to the first sensing pad receives the auxiliary voltage.

A sensing method of a fingerprint sensor is provided. The fingerprint sensor includes a plurality of sensing pixels arranged in an array, and the sensing pixels respectively have a sensing electrode. The sensing method includes following steps. A required resolution of an identification requirement is determined; here, the identification requirement is received by the fingerprint sensor. If the number of pixels of the required resolution is less than or equal to the number of the sensing pixels, self-capacitance sensing is performed on the sensing pixels to provide a first fingerprint pattern. If the number of pixels of the required resolution is greater than the number of the sensing pixels, the self-capacitance sensing and mutual capacitance sensing are performed on the sensing pixels to provide a second fingerprint pattern.

Sensing method of fingerprint sensor

A display panel includes a pixel block, a data circuit, and a data source. The pixel block includes a first sub-pixel coupled to a first data line, and N second sub-pixels. Each second sub-pixel of the N second sub-pixels is coupled to a corresponding second data line of N second data lines. The data circuit includes N switches. Each switch of the N switches is coupled to a corresponding second sub-pixel. When N voltage levels are sequentially outputted from the data source to the first data line and the N second data lines, the N switches are disabled sequentially.
