A display apparatus includes a first transistor including a first semiconductor layer and a first electrode that at least partially overlaps the first semiconductor layer. A first capacitor includes the first electrode and a second electrode that at least partially overlaps the first electrode. A second capacitor includes the second electrode and a third electrode that at least partially overlaps the second electrode. A first data line is configured to transfer a data voltage therethrough. First and second scan lines are configured to transfer first and second scan signals therethrough, respectively. A second transistor connects the first data line to the second electrode in response to the first scan signal. A third transistor connects the first electrode to a drain of the first transistor in response to the second scan signal.

Display apparatus including overlapping elements

A display device includes a display panel and a diffraction pattern layer. The display panel includes pixels. The diffraction pattern layer includes diffraction patterns arranged on the display panel and configured to diffract at least a portion of light from the pixels. The pixels include a first unit pixel and a second unit pixel. The diffraction patterns include first unit diffraction patterns and second unit diffraction patterns. The first unit diffraction patterns are arranged on the first unit pixel. The second unit diffraction patterns are arranged on the second unit pixel. The second unit diffraction patterns have a different planar arrangement than the first unit diffraction patterns.

Display device

A display panel includes: a substrate including a main display area, a component area, and a peripheral area; an auxiliary display element in the component area; an auxiliary pixel circuit in the peripheral area and comprising an auxiliary thin-film transistor and an auxiliary storage capacitor; a transparent connection line connecting the auxiliary display element to the auxiliary pixel circuit; and a first organic insulating layer and a second organic insulating layer that are stacked between the substrate and the auxiliary display element in the component area, wherein the first organic insulating layer is between the transparent connection line and the auxiliary display element, and a refractive index of the first organic insulating layer is between a refractive index of the transparent connection line and a refractive index of the second organic insulating layer.

Display panel and display apparatus including the same

A display apparatus includes: a substrate including a main display area, a component area, and a peripheral area; a main pixel circuit and a main display element connected to the main pixel circuit, the main pixel circuit and the main display element being disposed on the main display area; an auxiliary display element disposed on the component area; an auxiliary pixel circuit arranged on the peripheral area; and a connection line connecting the auxiliary display element to the auxiliary pixel circuit. The auxiliary display element includes an auxiliary pixel electrode that is at least partially round. The auxiliary pixel electrode has an asymmetrical shape with a contact portion at one side thereof. The contact portion is connected to the connection line.

Display apparatus

A display panel includes: a substrate including a main display area, a component area, and a peripheral area; a main sub-pixel at the main display area on the substrate; a main pixel circuit connected to the main sub-pixel, and including a main storage capacitor; an auxiliary sub-pixel at the component area on the substrate; an auxiliary pixel circuit at the peripheral area on the substrate, and including an auxiliary storage capacitor; and a connecting line connecting the auxiliary sub-pixel to the auxiliary pixel circuit. A capacity of the auxiliary storage capacitor is greater than a capacity of the main storage capacitor.

A pixel includes a first capacitor connected between first and second nodes, a second capacitor connected between a first voltage line and the first node, a light emitting diode including a first electrode and a second electrode connected with a second voltage line, a first transistor including a first electrode, a second electrode, and a gate electrode connected with the second node, a second transistor including a first electrode, a second electrode, and a gate electrode which receives a scan signal, a third transistor including a first electrode, a second electrode, and a gate electrode which receives a first compensation scan signal, a fourth transistor including a first electrode, a second electrode, and a gate electrode which receives a second compensation scan signal, and a fifth transistor including a first electrode, a second electrode, and a gate electrode which receives a first light emitting signal.

Pixel and electronic device

A display apparatus includes: a plurality of first display elements at a first display area; a plurality of first pixel circuits at the first display area, and electrically connected to the plurality of first display elements, respectively; a plurality of second display elements at a second display area; a plurality of second pixel circuits located along a first direction at a non-display area, and electrically connected to the plurality of second display elements, respectively; and a data line electrically connected to at least one first pixel circuit from among the plurality of first pixel circuits that is located along a second direction crossing the first direction at the first display area, and to at least one second pixel circuit from among the plurality of second pixel circuits. The plurality of second pixel circuits are spaced from the plurality of second display elements in a plan view.

Display apparatus and electronic device including the same

A display device a substrate; first display elements arranged in a first area on the substrate; first pixel circuits arranged in the first area on the substrate and connected to the first display elements; second display elements arranged in a second area on the substrate; and second pixel circuits arranged in a third area on the substrate and connected to the second display elements.
