The display device includes a substrate in which a plurality of pixels each including an emissive area and a transmissive area is disposed. The device includes a plurality of touch lines and a plurality of data lines in the emissive area. The device includes a compensation electrode coupled to at least one of the plurality of touch lines. The device includes a planarization layer on the plurality of touch lines and the plurality of data lines and including an opening corresponding to the transmissive area. The device includes a light emitting diode on the planarization layer in the emissive area and a touch electrode disposed within the opening in the transmissive area. The plurality of touch lines includes a first touch line and a second touch line closer to the plurality of data lines than the first touch line. The compensation electrode is coupled to the first touch line.

Display device

The present disclosure provides a touch display device comprising first and second subpixels included in adjacent first and second pixel areas in a column direction, first and second touch sensors respectively adjacent to the first and second pixel areas in a row direction, a first touch line electrically connected to the first and second touch sensors and extending in the column direction, a first sensing line extending in the column direction, a first sensing transistor configured to control an electrical connection between the first sensing line and the first touch sensor, a second sensing transistor configured to control electrical connection between the first sensing line and the second touch sensor, and a common touch bridge electrically connecting the first touch sensor and the second touch sensor to the first touch line. The touch display device can perform more accurate touch sensing by removing a ghost touch that may be caused by a temperature effect. In addition, the touch display device may reduce parasitic capacitance and load related to the touch sensor structure.

Touch display device and touch sensing method

Embodiments of the disclosure relate to a touch display device and a touch sensing method and may specifically include a first pixel area, a first touch sensor area positioned on one side of the first pixel area, a first subpixel disposed in the first pixel area and including a light emitting element and a scanning transistor, a first display driving line connected to the first subpixel, a first touch sensor disposed in the first touch sensor area, a first sensing line disposed adjacent to the first touch sensor, a first touch line electrically connected to the first touch sensor, and a first sensing transistor controlling an electrical connection between the first sensing line and the first touch sensor, thereby removing a ghost touch that may occur due to temperature influence.

A transparent touch display device according to embodiments of the disclosure may comprise a substrate including a pixel area, a first transmissive area positioned on a first side of the pixel area, and a second transmissive area positioned on a second side of the pixel area, a driving transistor disposed in the pixel area, an anode electrode disposed in the pixel area, positioned on the driving transistor, and electrically connected with a source electrode or drain electrode of the driving transistor, a light emitting layer positioned on the anode electrode, a display cathode electrode positioned on the light emitting layer, a first touch cathode electrode disposed in the first transmissive area and positioned on a first side of the display cathode electrode, a second touch cathode electrode disposed in the second transmissive area and positioned on a second side of the display cathode electrode, an encapsulation layer disposed on the display cathode electrode, the first touch cathode electrode, and the second touch cathode electrode, and a first touch line overlapping the display cathode electrode.

Transparent touch display device

A touch display device includes a display cathode electrode, a first touch cathode electrode adjacent to and disposed in the same layer as the display cathode electrode, a first touch line coupled with a touch driving circuit, a first touch bridge coupled with the first touch line, a second touch cathode electrode adjacent to and disposed in the same layer as the display cathode electrode, a second touch line coupled with the touch driving circuit, and a second touch bridge coupled with the second touch line. The first touch cathode electrode is electrically separated from and the second touch cathode electrode is electrically shorted with the display cathode electrode. The first touch bridge is coupled with the first touch cathode electrode. The second touch bridge is separated from the second touch cathode electrode, and the second touch line and the second touch cathode electrode are separated from each other.

Touch display device

Provided are a touch sensor embedded display device and a method for driving the same. A method includes: sequentially, in the display period: performing a display scan of a first area of the display panel based on one display line; and applying data of an input image to the pixels of the first area; simultaneously performing: a touch scan of a first touch line of the display panel and a touch scan of a second touch line of the display panel in a touch period following the display period; and simultaneously sensing touch inputs of the touch sensors on the first and second touch lines in the touch period, wherein each of the first and second touch lines overlaps a plurality of display lines, and wherein a width of each of the first and second touch lines is greater than a width of each of the plurality of display lines.

Touch sensor embedded display device and method for driving the same

A disclosed method for assigning a touch identification in a multi-touch sensitive display device is includes applying a touch driving signal to touch sensors of a touch screen and generating raw touch data, detecting touch points based on the raw touch data and respectively assigning temporary identifications (IDs) to the touch points, grouping the touch points based on a difference in distances between the touch points to form touch groups, and forming adaptive touch groups respectively based on the touch groups. The method also includes setting a comparison block including one or more of the adaptive touch groups contacting or overlapping each other, and matching the temporary ID assigned to one of the touch points within the comparison block in the current frame to one of a plurality of touch IDs within the comparison block in a previous frame.
