A system, method and computer program product for content delivery of services in a mobile telecommunication network on the basis of predictions of user and network needs. The method includes collecting and receiving information of the use of services in the network, and analyzing network behavior on the basis of the information received. The traffic load in the network is continuously monitored in real-time by estimating the traffic load locations in the network and the network capacity needs for delivering the services. The analysis is used for deciding the optimal network configuration to be used for supporting the estimated traffic load locations in the network. The network behavior is controlled based on the selections and decisions of the analysis by sending requests to network components for network configuration.

System, method and service product for content delivery

There is provided adaptive traffic processing in a communications network. Traffic flows from real-life traffic are detected, rules are applied to detected traffic flows, machine-learning based clustering of the detected traffic flows is performed, at least one new traffic rule is generated on the basis of one or more generated traffic clusters, the generated rules are simulated for obtaining a result indicating behavioural effect in the traffic of the communications network, the result is evaluated against one or more performance criteria of the communications network and the generated rules are applied if the performance criteria of the communications network have been met.

Adaptive traffic processing in communications network

A method for user authentication in a telecommunication network includes an authentication server with an authentication service and comprises an initial identity check of a upon a user request. The method includes steps performed by the authentication server, in which steps the authentication server receives a request with user behavior data for further authentication of a user, stores the user behavior data, matches the initial identity with previous information of the user by using an algorithm, performs further checking of the identity of the user if the initial identity of the user and the previous information of the user did not match in a predetermined manner, and reports the result of the further authentication as a reply to the request. A system performs the steps of the method.

A mediation method and a mediation system divided into independent node components that process event records independently of the other components of the system. In addition, the system is provided with at least one node manager component that configures the node components and starts them up, when required. Further, the node manager component monitors the functioning of the node components and also stops the node components, if required. Each of the independent node components operates according to its own settings and is thus self-contained and capable of continuing operation even though some of the other components are temporarily inoperative. The system comprises also a system database that manages configuration information and stores audit trail data.
