An apparatus including circuitry configured to: obtain two or more audio signal sets, wherein each audio signal set is associated with a position; obtain at least one parameter value for at least two of the audio signal sets; obtain the positions associated with the at least two of the audio signal sets; obtain a listener position; obtain source position information; obtain values related to source energies associated with the source position information; generate at least one audio signal based on at least one audio signal from at least one of the audio signal sets based on the positions associated with the at least two of the audio signal sets and the listener position; generate at least one modified parameter value and a residual value; and process the at least one audio signal to generate a spatial audio output.

Audio rendering with spatial metadata interpolation and source position information

An apparatus including circuitry configured to: obtain at least two audio signals from at least two microphones, wherein the at least two audio signals at least in part includes noise which is substantially incoherent between the at least two audio signals; estimate values associated with the noise within the at least two audio signals; process at least one of the at least two audio signals based on the values associated with the noise; and obtain spatial metadata associated with the at least two audio signals for rendering at least one of the at least two audio signals.

Sound field related rendering

An apparatus including circuitry configured to: receive a spatial audio signal, the spatial audio signal including at least one audio signal and spatial metadata associated; generate at least one decorrelated audio signal; determine at least one control parameter, wherein the at least one control parameter is at least based on at least one target further property of the at least two output audio signals and at least one of: the spatial metadata and at least one property determined based on the at least one audio signal; and generate the at least two output audio signals based on the spatial audio signal and at least one decorrelated audio signal, wherein the amount of the at least one decorrelated audio signal within at least two output audio signals is controlled based on the at least one control parameter.

Spatial audio representation and rendering

Apparatus, methods and computer programs for enabling reproduction of spatial audio signals

An apparatus including circuitry configured to: obtain a spatial audio signal including at least one audio signal and spatial metadata associated with the at least one audio signal; obtain at least one data set related to binaural rendering; obtain at least one pre-defined data set related to binaural rendering; and generate a binaural audio signal based on a combination of at least part of the at least one data set and the at least one pre-defined data set, and the spatial audio signal.

An apparatus including circuitry configured to: obtain at least two microphone audio signals; determine audio data including different directivity configurations that are able to capture sound from substantially a same or similar direction; determine at least one value related to the sound arriving from at least the same or similar direction based on the audio data; determine further audio data including at least one configuration which provides a more omnidirectional directivity configuration than the audio data; determine at least one value related to the sound based on the further audio data; and determine a noise suppression parameter based on the at least one value related to the arriving sound and the value related to the sound. Suppressing spatial noise in multi-microphone devices

An apparatus configured to: obtain at least one signal, wherein the at least one signal comprises one or more transport audio signals; obtain an indicator specifying a type of the one or more transport audio signals; and process the one or more transport audio signals based, at least partially, on the indicator to generate one or more processed transport audio signals that are of an at least partially different type than the type of the one or more transport audio signals.

According to an example embodiment, a method for processing an input audio signal () in accordance with spatial metadata () so as to play back a spatial audio signal in a device () in dependence of at least one sound reproduction characteristic () of the device is provided, the method comprising obtaining said input audio signal () and said spatial metadata (); obtaining said at least one sound reproduction characteristic () of the device; rendering a first portion of the spatial audio signal using a first type playback procedure applied on the input audio signal in dependence of the spatial metadata (), wherein the first portion comprises sound directions within a front region of the spatial audio signal; and rendering a second portion of the spatial audio signal using a second type playback procedure applied on the input audio signal in dependence of the spatial metadata () and in dependence of said at least one sound reproduction characteristic (), wherein the second portion comprises sound directions that are not included in the first portion and where the second type playback procedure is different from the first playback procedure and involves cross-talk cancellation processing.

Audio processing

A method for audio focusing is provided, the method comprising: receiving a multi-channel audio signal that represents sounds in sound directions that correspond to respective positions in an image area of an image; receiving an indication of an audio focus direction that corresponds to a first position in the image area; selecting a primary sound direction from a plurality of different available candidate directions, wherein said plurality of different available candidate directions comprise said audio focus direction and one or more offset candidate directions and wherein each offset candidate direction corresponds to a respective candidate offset from said first position in the image area; and deriving, based on said multi-channel audio signal in dependence of the selected primary sound direction, an output audio signal.

The apparatus is configured to receive a plurality of spatial audio streams wherein the spatial audio streams include one or more audio signals and associated spatial metadata. An apparatus including circuitry configured to obtain a defocus direction; process a spatial audio signal that represents an audio scene to generate a processed spatial audio signal that represents a modified audio scene based on the defocus direction, so as to control relative deemphasis in, at least in part, a portion of the spatial audio signal in the defocus direction relative to at least in part other portions of the spatial audio signal; and output the processed spatial audio signal, wherein the modified audio scene based on the defocus direction enables the deemphasis in, at least in part, the portion of the spatial audio signal in the defocus direction relative to at least in part other portions of the spatial audio signal.
