A pallet () comprises a platform section () and foot sections (-) protruding downwards from the platform section. The pallet comprises at least one elongated support element () between opposite edge areas of the pallet and going via a lower portion of a foot section () that is between and distances away from the opposite edge areas of the pallet. The elongated support element is connected to the opposite edge areas of the pallet with connections () for receiving tensile stress acting on the elongated support element. The tensile stress of the elongated support element is increased in response to downwards arching bending of the platform section. Thus, the elongated support element tends to prevent the bending of the platform section.

Pallet for carrying a load

An ultrasound crystallization device includes a tubular crystallization reactor () for conducting process fluid containing substance to be crystallized, an ultrasound source () for radiating ultrasound to the tubular crystallization reactor, and a temperature-control structure () for controlling the temperature of the process fluid with the aid of temperature-control fluid. The tubular crystallization reactor is shaped to conduct the process fluid to flow around the ultrasound source, and the temperature-control structure comprises a flow-guide structure () for guiding at least a part of the temperature-control fluid to flow around the ultrasound source. The flow-guide structure improves the accuracy of the temperature control of the process fluid and also the ability of the temperature control to react to changes.

Ultrasound crystallization device and an ultrasound crystallization system

A system for processing material, for example recycled material, comprises a compacting device () for compacting the material and a treatment device () for agglomerating, pelletizing, or nozzle-extruding the compacted material. The compacting device comprises a compacting chamber () and a compacting element () that is moveable in the compacting chamber to reduce the volume of the compacting chamber so as to compact the material to be delivered to the treatment device. As the material is compacted prior to being agglomerated, pelletized, or nozzle-extruded, supply of the material to the treatment device can be more reliable especially when the material is chopped waste plastic or other fluffy material including much air. Furthermore, efficiency of the agglomeration, pelletizing, or nozzle-extruding is improved because the compacting increases density of the material prior to the agglomeration, pelletizing, or nozzle-extruding process.

System and a method for processing material

Filter element and method for manufacturing the plates thereof

A forming method for producing wall and ceiling cladding sheets from sheetmetal, wherein embossed patterns are pressed into a metal sheet so that they cover the entire surface area of the sheet substantially uniformly. In the method, the embossed pattern is formed from a number of flute portions oriented at an angle to each other and an intersection of these, the intersection and all the flute portions extending from it to a distance from the intersection being produced in a single embossing operation. In addition, the metal sheet is clamped from opposite sides in an area outside the embossed pattern and held in place so that the embossed pattern is mainly produced as a result of the sheet being stretched in the area of the embossed pattern, and the separately pressed embossed patterns are joined together in the areas of the flute portions.

Sheetmetal forming method

A process and apparatus for the manufacture of a cooking vessel, such as a frying pan (12) or a kettle from a metal blank. The vessel is manufactured by roll forming techniques by using a lower tool (3) that rotates around its axis (2), the form face (6, 7) of the lower tool being designed so that it corresponds to the outer surface of the thus created vessel, and an upper tool (5) that rotates around its axis (4), the surface (9, 10) of the upper tool having a profile that corresponds to the inner surface formed to the vessel. The blank is placed on the form face of the lower tool and the tools (3, 5) are then made to rotate so that the blank rotates along with the lower tool (3), and the surface of the upper tool (5) is in linear roll contact with the blank, whereby the metal is formed in the slot between the tools, spreading out into the desired form of the vessel. A vertical wall on the lower tool adjacent the blank may prevent the blank from becoming dislocated on the lower tool. First, a pressure sufficient to give the blank substantially the desired form of the cooking vessel is applied. Thereafter, the pressure is reduced to finish the surfaces of the cooking vessel. In the manufacture of the frying pan (12), the blank may be a straight piece of sheet, whereby the rising sides of the pan are formed in the roll forming with the blank spreading radially outwards at its edges. In connection with the forming, the outer and inner surface of the vessel can be provided with patterns consisting of protrusions and/or recesses.
