A loudspeaker assembly and a hand-held device are provided. The loudspeaker assembly includes at least one loudspeaker driver and at least two output ports. The at least one loudspeaker driver and the at least two output ports are configured so that the loudspeaker assembly has a directive polar pattern over a desired frequency range.

Loudspeaker assembly and hand-held device

Provided is a loudspeaker applied to an electronic device, including: a speaker body configured for vibrating and producing sound; a first acoustic channel having a first end communicated with the speaker body and a second end forming a first sound output port on a case of the electronic device; and a second acoustic channel having a first end communicated with the speaker body and a second end forming a second sound output port on the case of the electronic device. The first and second sound output ports are located on adjacent wall surfaces of the case of the electronic device. Compared with the related art, larger port area can be achieved by separately forming sound output ports on adjacent walls of the housing, resulting in high frequency response and higher gain. The horn-shaped sound output port facilitates design and reduces flow-related distortion and noise at low frequencies.

Loudspeaker and electronic device

A sound reproducing apparatus is disclosed. The sound reproducing apparatus includes a signal processing unit, a first transducer, and a second transducer. The signal processing unit is configured to receive a sound signal and divide the sound signal into a first frequency component and a second frequency component. The first frequency component is at least partially different from the second frequency component, and the signal processing unit includes a delay unit configured to delay the second frequency band component. The first transducer is configured to convert the first frequency component from the signal processing unit into airborne sound. The second transducer is configured to convert the second frequency component from the delay unit into bone conduction sound.

Sound reproducing apparatus and method

The invention provides a speaker module for a mobile terminal with a sound output port. The speaker module includes a speaker box. The speaker box includes a sound output opening for side surface sound. The speaker module also includes a horn barre. The horn barrel has openings arranged at both ends. A sectional area along the sound output direction of the horn barrel changes gradually. By designing a variable sectional surface with different areas or lengths and widths on the horn barrel for stakeout, the size of the variable sectional surface is directly related to the sound quality of each part of the horn barrel. The horn barrel widens the frequency band range. Compared with the related art, the present invention can realize multi-level resonance, has a small volume, is convenient to widen the frequency band range and has flexible avoidance space.

Speaker module

The present invention provides a speaker module for a mobile terminal provided with a sound output port. The speaker module includes a speaker box. The speaker box includes a first sound output opening and a second sound output opening. A speaker module also includes a first horn barrel and a second horn barrel. The first horn barrel and the second horn barrel are arranged asymmetrically with respect to the speaker box. The speaker module in the present invention realizes the multi-order coupling of the resonance peak, which not only improves the high-frequency performance, but also widens the frequency band range, and at the same time, reduces the manufacturing cost.

A loudspeaker is disclosed, including a driver diaphragm, an enclosure and an outlet. The driver diaphragm is configured to produce acoustic waves. The enclosure includes an upper wall disposed opposite to the driver diaphragm and having an inner surface facing to the driver diaphragm, and a side wall connecting the upper wall to the driver diaphragm. The outlet is defined at the upper wall or the side wall, and configured to output the acoustic waves. The driver diaphragm and the enclosure define a front volume chamber communicating with the outlet. The front volume chamber and the outlet form a front cavity. The inner surface has a protruding part located close to the outlet, a distance from a position at the protruding part to the driver diaphragm is smaller than that from a position at other parts of the inner surface to the driver diaphragm.

Loudspeaker

Provided is a method and system of sound processing for a mobile terminal based on hand-holding and orientation detection. The method includes: detecting whether the mobile terminal is held by hand; in response to determination of the mobile terminal being held by hand, detecting whether it is one-hand holding or two-hand holding; in response to determination of one-hand holding, detecting whether it is landscape holding or portrait holding, and conducting corresponding frequency response equalization and stereo processing control; and in response to determination of two-hand holding, determining whether the mobile terminal is in an interaction procedure, and conducting corresponding frequency response equalization and stereo processing control. Compared with the related art, the problem that frequency response of the speakers of existing mobile terminals significantly changes with different holding postures that may eventually lead to poor sound quality is solved, to provide more consistent speaker sound quality in real life.

Method and system of sound processing for mobile terminal based on hand holding and orientation detection

Provided is a method for audio peak reduction using an all-pass filter, including: determining a delay parameter m and a gain parameter g based on a formula (1): absolute peak map y(n) represents a processed signal with a time-domain response function and is calculated based on a formula (2): y(n)=(h*x)(n)(2), where hrepresents an impulse response function, x (n) represents an input signal, and his calculated based on formula (3): This method is widely used in the reproduction, storage and broadcasting of sound, and the computational complexity is small, which is a supplement to the traditional nonlinear compression algorithm.

Method for audio peak reduction using all-pass filter

An electronic device includes an enclosure defining a chamber and a first output port communicating the chamber with outside of the enclosure; a loudspeaker module disposed within the chamber. The loudspeaker module includes a first front cavity in communication with the first output port, a second front cavity acoustically connected with an inside space of the enclosure, a rear cavity, a transducer disposed between the first front cavity and the rear cavity, and a first passive radiator disposed between the second front cavity and the rear cavity. The passive radiator is capable of radiating low-frequency sound to the inside space of the enclosure via the second front cavity and an inside port or a second passive radiator. Then, the low-frequency sound re-radiates through surfaces of the enclosure and possible leaks in the enclosure to the outside environment. The low-frequency output is boosted.

Electronic device with loudspeaker module

A acoustic horn includes an input port configured to acoustically couple with a front cavity of a loudspeaker, a pair of output ports leading to exterior of the horn, and a pair of channels each communicating the input port with a corresponding output port. Each of the channels has a cross section of which the area increases gradually in a direction from the input port to a corresponding output port and the areas of the cross sections of the channels in the same plane are substantially equal to each other such that the channels are acoustical symmetrical, which improves the high-frequency performance the sound waves and reduces distortion of the sound waves at low frequencies.

Batteries as an antenna for a device are disclosed. In an embodiment, the device comprises: at least two batteries, each battery comprising at least two conductive portions; a radio frequency, RF, isolation component configured between the at least two batteries; a transformer configured to connect a radio frequency signal to the at least two conductive portions of the at least two batteries, wherein the at least two conductive portions are configured as an antenna of the device.

According to an aspect, there is provided a method connectivity of at least two user apparatuses is identified to a power source via a Universal Serial Bus type-C connection (USB-C).
