A thermal regulation circuit for a vehicle includes a first heat exchanger, a second heat exchanger, and a third heat exchanger. The first and the second heat exchangers are situated in series such that an ambient air flow passes through the first heat exchanger prior to passing through the second heat exchanger. The ambient air flow also passes through the third heat exchanger. The thermal regulation circuit is configured to allow a refrigerant fluid to circulate through the first heat exchanger and then the third heat exchanger. The thermal regulation circuit is configured to allow a heat-transfer fluid to circulate through the second heat exchanger.

Refrigerant circuit for a vehicle, and method for controlling such a circuit

A heat-transfer liquid circuit for an electric vehicle propelled, at least in part, by an electric motor, the circuit including a first leg, and the first leg includes, at least, a pump, a first heat exchanger configured to exchange heat energy between the heat-transfer liquid and a refrigerant fluid, an electric-heating device, and a second heat exchanger configured to exchange heat energy between the heat transfer liquid and a flow of air dispatched towards the interior of the vehicle. The circuit also includes a second leg, and the second leg includes a third heat exchanger thermally coupled to a component of an electric drivetrain of the vehicle. The circuit further includes a third leg arranged in parallel with the first leg and connected to the latter by a member for distributing the heat-transfer liquid.

Heat transfer liquid circuit

A heat exchanger having multiple segments is described. The heat exchanger includes a pair of manifolds, having tubes extending therein. Further, a first blocking element is provided in a manifold to divide the tubes into a first set of tubes and a second set of tubes having a fluid communication with each other. Further, a second blocking element is provided in the manifold, corresponding to the second set of tubes, to further divide the second set of tubes into a first segment of tubes and a second segment of tubes. Further, an inlet is provided on the manifold to introduce the heat exchange fluid to the first set of tubes. Further, a plurality of outlets provided on the manifold to receive the heat exchange fluid from the second set of tubes.

A thermal management device having an indirect air conditioning circuit for a motor vehicle is disclosed. The device has a first refrigerant fluid loop (A) with a compressor, a two-fluid heat exchanger, a first expansion device, an evaporator, a second expansion device, an evaporator/condenser, and a first by-pass line including a first stop valve, a first and a second internal heat exchanger. A second by-pass line includes a third expansion device arranged upstream from a cooler, a shunt branch comprising a first external radiator.
