A system for drying vehicle bodies and/or for controlling the temperature thereof. The system includes a cabin and has a heater for heating hot air for the cabin. The system is equipped with a mechanical energy-consuming device, for example, a generator and/or a fan. The heater contains at least one heat exchanger. The hot exhaust gas of a thermal engine can be supplied to the heat exchanger. The thermal engine is coupled to the mechanical energy-consuming device, for example, the generator, so as to move together. Because of the coupled movement, mechanical energy can be transmitted from the thermal engine to the mechanical energy-consuming device.

The invention relates to a conveyor device which is used to transport work-pieces, especially the work-pieces of motor vehicle bodies, through a processing area for surface treatment of said work-pieces, comprising a conveyor which brings the work-pieces which are respectively maintained by a holder into the processing area; transports them through said area and removes them therefrom. The inventive conveyor device requires less maintenance in comparison with known conveyor devices. The holders respectively comprise a base part which moves in a translatory movement along a conveyor device and a rotating part on which the work-piece is arranged and which is held in such a way that it is rotatable on the base part. The conveyor comprises at least one drive device enabling at least one directly driven respective holder to be driven directly in a movement along the conveyor device. The movement of the directly driven holder is transferred to an indirectly driven holder as a result of the contact between the directly driven holder and said at least one indirectly driven holder.

To provide a recovery plant for surplus water paint in paint-spraying booths comprising a circuit of water circulating in the booth, wherein such problems with sedimenting water paint particles no longer arise, it is proposed that a volume flow of water circulating in the booth flow from the circuit of water circulating in the booth through a branch pipe to a preconcentration stage, that the preconcentration stage comprise a ring circuit with an ultrafiltration unit for continuously producing a preconcentrate in the ring circuit and a permeate which leaves the ring circuit, that the permeate flow into the circuit of water circulating in the booth and the preconcentrate into a final concentration stage, that the final concentration stage comprise a ring circuit with an ultrafiltration unit which increases the concentration of the preconcentrate in batches to the final concentrate and produces a permeate which flows into the circuit of water circulating in the booth.
