The present invention concerns: A heating element comprising a heating unit, a heat transfer unit and a temperature sensor unit, the heating, unit comprising a first composition, the first composition comprising an epoxy-based or glass-based composition or a composition comprising a sol-gel solution in which up to about 90% of said solution is a conductive powder in a uniform stable dispersion and said solution conductive powder is a member selected from the group consisting of metals, ceramics, interceramics and semi-conductors and the temperature sensor comprising a second composition, the second composition comprising an epoxy-based or glass-based composition or a composition comprising a composition comprising a sol-gel solution in which up to about 90% of said solution is a conductive powder in a uniform stable dispersion and said solution conductive powder is a member selected from the group consisting of metals, ceramics, interceramics and semi-conductors, the heating unit and the temperature sensor unit being provided as two units, which are electrically insulated from each other and with are mechanically supported by the heat transfer unit. Heating element with temperature sensor

A hair treatment device and a corresponding method for treating hair are disclosed. The hair treatment device is suitable for heating hair and has a heating element that is heated to a starting temperature and whose temperature is regulated by a temperature control. The hair treatment device has a sensor that measures data from which a parameter based on the condition of the hair can be generated, wherein the parameter influences the temperature control.

Automated hair care process

The present invention relates to a hair care device (), having a handle (), a function head () which can be connected to the handle (), and which has a hair treatment device (), particularly a brush and/or a tooth field, and having an ion-discharging device () for discharging ions onto the hair, the ion-discharging device () having at least one ion outlet (). According to the invention, the hair care device () is characterized in that the function head () and/or a housing part which surrounds the ion outlet () has at least one grounding area for dissipating/limiting electronic charges. Advantageously, the ions are discharged exclusively from the back of the device () which faces away from the hair treatment device (), while the grounding area on the function head () can be provided on the front of the device.

Said hair care device () has in addition a grounding surface for the removal/limiting of electronic loads, which is arranged on a part of the housing in the area of the ion outlet, wherein the ion source has a potential level of &#x2212;10 to &#x2212;3 KV relative to the potential level of the grounding surface, the sheath has a potential level of &#x2212;2.5 to &#x2212;1 KV or of 20% to 50% of the potential level of the ion source relative to the potential level of the grounding surface, and the back side () of the device has a potential level of &#x2212;500 to &#x2212;100V or from 2% to 10% of the potential level of the ion source relative to the potential level of the grounding surface.

The invention relates in particular to a bristle holder for a brush, the bristle holder having a frame, a bristle anchoring means, and a back part, the back part having a first end area adjacent to the handle part of a connectable brush and a second end area adjacent to the brush end, the first end area supporting at least one first connecting element and the second end area supporting at least one positioning element and at least one holding element. The invention furthermore relates to a brush with and for a bristle holder of the described type.
