A roof module for a vehicle roof of a passenger vehicle is disclosed. The roof module has at least one covering element which is adjustable in a guided manner along lateral guiding elements which are spaced apart from one another in the vehicle transverse direction between a closed position which covers a roof opening and an open position which releases the roof opening at least in a partial region. At least one of the guiding elements is formed at least in an absorption region as an energy absorption element which is deformable, thereby absorbing energy, in the case of an at least indirect impact of the head of a vehicle occupant with the energy absorption element.

Roof module for a vehicle roof of a passenger vehicle

A roof module includes a support designed as a closed frame, to which a roof cladding element is fitted and these two components are made to form an assembly by an adhesive bead and joined by a molding made of a material that can be applied while being curable, preferably a thermoplastic polymer. In order to compensate thermal stresses caused by different coefficients of thermal expansion of the components, the molding has contact regions towards the support or the roof cladding element where there is no adhesion between the molding and the component.

Roof module

A modular construction system for producing a plurality of design variants of a roof module for a motor car includes a plurality of design-variant-specific adapter elements and a plurality of design-variant-specific planar elements. Using at least one adapter element, at least one respective planar element can be connected to a frame, forming a roof opening, in particular of a motor car shell.

In one embodiment, an assembly for an openable sliding roof having a cover for selectively exposing and closing a roof opening is provided, the assembly having: at least one lever for raising and lowering the cover, the at least one lever being pivotally mounted to the cover; and a height adjusting mechanism for repositioning the lever with respect to the cover, the height adjusting mechanism having an eccentric coupling the lever to the cover.

A cover for a sliding roof system comprises at least one reinforcing element which has a U-shaped cross-section and has its center leg attached to the cover such that the two side legs extend away from the cover. A sliding roof system provided with a cover of this type is distinguished in that it comprises a sliding/tilting mechanism including a fold-out sliding piece, the sliding piece being movably arranged on the guide rail.

A convertible motor vehicle with at least two vehicle seating rows and with at least two side doors is provided. A respectively associated door column is arranged in between the doors, and an active rollover protection system is provided in the region thereof. The door columns end upwards in the region of an associated waistline of the motor vehicle, and the rollover protection system is at least substantially arranged below the waistline of the motor vehicle in a retracted position.

A folding top for a motor vehicle is provided. The folding top includes a rear roof part which delimits a window opening for a rear window and which is displaceable about a main pivot axis in order to transfer the folding top from a closed position into a storage position. The rear window is pivotable relative to the rear roof part about a window pivot axis which extends at a distance from the main pivot axis. The rear window bears against the rear roof part from the outside when the folding top is in the closed position and, after the folding top has been transferred into its storage position, is moved at least by way of a partial region through the window opening.

A vehicle seat includes a seat cushion having seat upholstery and a seat back having a seat back upholstery which are held in a seat framework that is anchored to a vehicle floor in a longitudinally shiftable manner, and includes at least one swivelable holding bracket, for the detachable fastening of a child's seat, set upon the seat cushion, on the seat framework, which is swivelable from a covered, non-use position into a functional position, in which it is accessible, all the way through, between seat back upholstery and seat upholstery. For the creation of a vehicle seat, e.g., having electromotive seat adjustment for longitudinal seat adjustment, seat cushion vertical setting and seat cushion depth setting, in a longitudinal shifting position of the seat upholstery which is determined so that the seat upholstery is moved out of the swivel path of the holding bracket, the swivel motion of the holding bracket is derived from the vertical adjustment motion of the seat cushion.

Vehicle seat

A headrest of a motor vehicle seat can be folded down into an inoperative position. The headrest has a headrest body and a headrest bracket which are mechanically connected in such a manner, via a bearing part having a sliding bearing and a pivot bearing that a vertical displacement and a pivoting about a horizontal pivot axis arranged perpendicularly to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle are achievable.

A device for holding a drink container, such as a cup, mug or bottle, of different diameters in the interior of a passenger car includes a coupling device, into which a bottle holder or cup holder can be inserted and removed therefrom, on the center console or on a seat. Other containers, such as a refuse container or tray can also be inserted into the coupling device.

An arrangement of operator controls in a vehicle which are arranged in a plurality of operator control arrays in such a way that only one of these operator control arrays is active in an actuation position and it is easily possible to change over between the groups. A method for dynamic adaptation of the support, in particular the lateral support, of a person seated on a vehicle seat includes using an adaptation system, which is integrated in the vehicle seat, to determine the adaptation taking into account the current vehicle velocity. In order to compensate for the inherent inertia of the adaptation system, prediction of the adaptation is performed from stored data over the current road course, onto which data the current vehicle data are projected. The adaptation system is actuated taking into account the adaptation time inherent in the system in such a way that, when the event requiring the adaptation occurs, preferably when a bend is traveled through, at least one adaptation presetting is achieved.

Method for adapting body support of a passenger seated in a vehicle seat in terms of vehicle movements dynamics and corresponding vehicle seat

Padding for seats, in particular vehicle seats, has a padded body predetermining the contour of the padded surface, which can be changed. In order to adjust the padded surface contour to support the body of a seated person in an individual and orthopaedically correct manner, avoiding hardening of the padded surface which has an adverse effect on the seat comfort, the padded body is composed, at least in subregions, of a plurality of individual padded segments which are arranged next to one another and can be displaced relative to one another in the direction of the normal of the padded surface. Adjusting elements can displace the padded elements individually.

Padding for seats, in particular vehicle seats

A windbreak device is provided for an open motor vehicle, in whose passenger cell at least one vehicle seat having a backrest and associated head restraint is arranged. Air outflow openings of the air-distributing device are provided level with an upper region of the backrest in order to avoid undesirable draughts for the vehicle occupant. The air-distributing device is integrated in the backrest and is supported directly by the latter.
