A curing composition for rubber includes: a metallic co-agent selected from the group consisting of zinc diacrylate and zinc methacrylate; organic peroxide; sulfur; and a hydrotalcite compound. The curing composition and a rubber matrix can be used to make an uncured rubber composition. A cured rubber is obtainable by curing the uncured rubber composition.

A metal braided hose includes: an inner tube including an elastic material; a first metal wire braided layer enveloping an outer surface of the inner tube; and a second metal wire braided layer enveloping the first metal wire braided layer. A wire thickness of the second metal wire braided layer is smaller than a wire thickness of the first metal wire braided layer.

A hose end fitting includes: a body with a continuous channel extending through the body from a first end of the body to a second end of the body, a circumferential groove being arranged around the first end of the body, the first end of the body arranged for receiving an end of a hose, and a coupling device being arranged on the second end of the body; a retaining ring having a radially inwardly extending circumferential rib and a circumferential groove arranged in an outer circumferential surface of the ring; and a socket crimpable on to the retaining ring, the socket having on one end an inwardly extending flange for engagement with the circumferential groove on the retaining ring. The retaining ring has a slit extending in an axial direction allowing for the retaining ring to bend open and accordingly expand, such that the ring is slidable.

Hose end fitting

A clip fitting for a hose that includes a hose nipple defining at least one circular groove. A circular seal is positioned in the groove. At least one hose clip is mounted on the hose nipple. At least one clamp is positioned on the hose clip over the seal. The fitting provides an improved seal between the hose and the nipple.
