A device for depositing overspray from the overspray-charged booth air of coating installations with a flow system for booth air. The flow system includes a number of depositing units through which overspray-charged booth air can be directed and in which overspray is deposited. The depositing units are designed as an exchangeable structural unit with a filter housing, a filter inlet, a filter unit and a filter outlet, each of which can be fed to the flow system and can thereby be moved into or out of an operating position. In the operating position of a depositing unit, the filter inlet is connected to an associated first flow connection of the flow system and the filter outlet is connected to an associated second flow connection of the flow system. There are docking means, by which the filter inlet and the filter outlet of one of the depositing units and the flow connections of the flow system are forcibly aligned in relation to one another during the feeding movement.

Device for depositing overspray and surface treatment installation

A method for operating a surface treatment plant, resulting overspray in a coating booth is taken up by an air flow. The air flow loaded with overspray is conveyed as exhaust air flow to at least one separation unit in which overspray is separated out. In a supply region upstream of the at least one separation unit and/or in an internal space of the at least one separation unit, a filter aid having a separation aggregate state is added to the exhaust air flow and forms, with the overspray, a separation mixture which is separated in or at the at least one separation unit. The filter aid used is solid or liquid in the separation aggregate state. In the at least one separation unit, conditions are established in which the filter aid transitions from the separation aggregate state into a gaseous aggregate state such that the gaseous filter air can separate from the separation mixture.

Method for operating a surface treatment plant

A conveyor system for transporting articles, comprising a rail system that comprises a plurality of track sections and at least one switch point, by which, via a switch point drive, a first track section can be connected to a second track section or to a third track section of the rail system. At least one drivable transport trolley can be driven along a path of movement on the rail system. A communications system with comprises at least one communications line that extends along the path of movement of the at least one transport trolley. A trolley communications unit disposed on the at least one transport trolley interacts with the communications line. The switch point drive can be controlled by means of a switch point control system, which is connected to the at least one communications line.

The invention relates to a device for separating overspray from the booth air of coating booths, in particular painting systems, charged with overspray. The device includes a separation unit through which booth air charged with overspray can be guided and in which overspray is separated. The separating unit is designed as an exchangeable structural unit having a filter housing, an inlet opening and a filter unit. The air flow charged with overspray can be guided via the air guiding device to the separation unit. The separating unit includes an inlet collar which defines the inlet at least in sections and the air guiding device includes a connecting sleeve, which immerses in such a manner into the inlet opening when the separating device is in operation in such a manner that said connecting sleeve is surrounded by the inlet collar of the separation unit.

Device for separating overspray

In a method for operating a surface treatment installation, overspray produced in a coating booth is taken up by an air stream and carried to one or more one-way filter modules, in which overspray is separated. Once a limit loading with overspray is reached, a one-way filter module is exchanged for an empty one-way filter module. Depending on the nature and characteristics of the overspray, the one or more one-way filter module(s) may be chosen from a set of different one-way filter modules. A set of filter modules for use in a surface treatment installation is provided having various filter modules formed as exchangeable one-way structural units with a module housing and a filter unit. The module housings of the various filter modules have the same-connection module inlets and the same-connection module outlets and at least the filter units of two different filter modules are formed differently.

A separator unit having a panel-shaped separator electrode on which at least one separator surface is formed for the overspray. A feed device ensures that a separator liquid can be fed to the separator surface of the separator electrode. It has a channel that can be filled with the separator liquid, and a removal device which can remove separator liquid from the channel. The latter includes a shape-changing, flexible and/or elastic expansion element arranged in the channel, which at least partially delimits a closed cavity. The removal device includes a pump device with which a pressure medium can be pushed into the closed cavity. As a result of the volume expansion of the closed cavity when 'pumping up' said expansion element, separator liquid is displaced over the edges of the channel and from here it can be conducted onto the separator surface of the separator electrode in a suitable manner.

A method for precipitating overspray from the overspray-laden booth exhaust air of coating installations, in particular from painting installations, the overspray is carried by an air stream to a precipitation device, where a majority at least of the solid material is precipitated from the overspray. The overspray-laden booth exhaust air is guided through filter modules, in which overspray is precipitated and which are designed as replaceable one-way components having a filter housing and a filter unit, wherein each filter module is replaced by an empty filter module after reaching a loading overspray. Moreover, the invention relates to a device for precipitating overspray by means of such one-way filter modules, and to an installation for coating objects, in particular vehicle bodies.

Method and device for precipitating overspray and installation provided therewith

A line for the dip coating of objects operates with a known conveyor system. In order to avoid a collision between the objects and the hard structure adjoining the movement path, a position transducer measuring the absolute value is provided for each possible degree of freedom of movement of the object fixed to the holding frame. The course of a first boundary surface or a boundary line, which reproduces the course of the hard structures along the movement path of the object, is stored in a memory. Also stored is the course of a second boundary surface or boundary line, which runs at a distance from the first boundary surface or boundary line. Finally, the course of a contour which represents the course of the object fixed to the holding frame is also stored. The control device calculates, from the signals supplied to it by the position transducers and the other stored data, whether the contour representing the object fixed to the holding frame intersects the second boundary surface or boundary line or not and, in the first case, interrupts immediately the further movement of the object.

Dip coating line

A device with which electrical energy can be transferred from a power cable running along a stationary rail of a transport system to a moving element that can be driven along the rail. Each moving element has for this purpose a transfer head which works inductively together with the power cable. The power cable is attached with the aid of carrier profile which extends substantially along the entire length of the rail and is fixed in a releasable manner to the rail, which element has at least one a trough-like holder open to the side in which the power cable is laid. The power cable is thus relatively easily and accurately laid, avoiding hanging loops of cable which could be damaged by abrasion by the passing transfer heads of the moving elements.
