A windshield wiper drive for a motor vehicle, with a reverse-operating driving motor for driving a wiper shaft which is connected in a rotationally fixed manner to a wiper arm, and with a fastening plate for fastening the windshield wiper drive to a vehicle body or to a component mounted on the body, wherein a first end stop surface for limiting the rotational movement of the wiper shaft in a first direction of rotation is provided on the fastening plate and/or on a component fixed to the fastening plate.

The invention relates to a method for operating a direct wiper drive having a motor, in particular for a windshield wiper. The method comprises reading out at least one characteristic curve from a memory and operating the wiper direct drive at an angle- and direction-dependent torque, corresponding at a maximum to a value of the angle- and direction-dependent characteristic curve, wherein the characteristic curve comprises at least the following values: a first, maximum value for upward wiping at a first wiping angle between a lower turning location and an upper turning location; a second value for upward wiping at a second wiping angle between the first wiping angle and the upper turning location, wherein the second value for upward wiping at the second wiping angle is less than the first, maximum value for upward wiping at the first wiping angle; a first, maximum value for downward wiping at a wiping angle between the upper turning location and the lower turning location, wherein the first, maximum value for downward wiping is greater than the first, maximum value for upward wiping; and a second value for downward wiping corresponding to a wiper position at the second wiping angle, wherein the second value for downward wiping is greater than the second value for upward wiping.

Method for reducing motor torque for wiper drives

A system for determining if a tire of a vehicle is improperly inflated. The system includes a radar, a wheel speed sensor, and a controller. The radar is configured to emit a signal to detect a reflection of the signal off of an object positioned perpendicular to the vehicle, and to output an indication of a speed of the vehicle. The wheel speed sensor is configured to sense a speed of a wheel of the vehicle. The controller is configured to receive the indication of the speed of the vehicle from the radar, to calculate a speed of the vehicle based on the sensed speed of the wheel, and to determine a tire of the wheel is improperly inflated when the speed of the vehicle calculated using the wheel speed sensor varies by more than a predetermined amount from the speed of the vehicle determined using the radar signal.

Method for performing closed-loop and/or open-loop control of a windshield wiper device, computer program product, control device and windshield wiper device

The invention relates to a windshield wiper drive () for a motor vehicle, in particular a windshield wiper drive (), with a reverse-operating drive motor (), for driving a wiper shaft () connected non-rotatably to a wiper arm (), and with a fastening board () for attaching the windshield wiper drive () to a vehicle body or to a body-mounted component (). The invention provides that a first end stop surface () for delimiting the rotary movement of the wiper shaft () in a first direction of rotation is provided on the fastening board () or on a component () affixed to the fastening board ().

A windshield wiper device () especially for a motor vehicle is proposed. Said device is comprised essentially of a plate-shaped base (), on which a drive unit (), a wiper bearing () and a retaining element () are arranged. In accordance with the invention, the plate-shaped base () is provided with predetermined breaking points ().

Windshield wiping device, especially for a motor vehicle

The invention relates to a windscreen wiper device (), in particular for a motor vehicle, screwed to a chassis (). Conventional windscreen wiper devices do not yield on an impact with a pedestrian and hence represent a significant injury risk for pedestrians. According to the invention, the risk of injury may be reduced whereby the housing openings (), provided for housing screws () in the chassis () comprise a slot () at the edge of the housing opening ().

Windscreen wiper device

A windshield wiper device (), particularly for a motor vehicle, is proposed. This windshield wiper device comprises a wiper bearing () supporting a wiper shaft (), which has an undercut () in which a securing device () for axially fixing the wiper shaft () in the wiper bearing () is arranged. Windscreen wiping device, particularly for a motor vehicle

Disclosed is a windshield wiper device (), comprising a wiper bearing () which is essentially composed of a molded tube () that can be fastened to a motor vehicle by means of a fastening element (). A wiper shaft () to which a wiper lever can be fastened is positioned in the molded tube (). A predetermined breaking point () is provided on the fastening element () in such a way that the wiper bearing () is able to dip into the interior of the motor vehicle in case a defined and essentially axial force acts on the wiper shaft (). The predetermined breaking point () is embodied as a hole in this case.

Winshield wiping device

A windshield wiper device with fastening points (), by means of which the windshield wiper device is fastened to a body () of a motor vehicle. Until now windshield wiper systems were screwed or riveted to the vehicle body so that special tools and a relatively great amount of time are required. The aim of the invention is improving the windshield wiper device so that it can be mounted on the vehicle body more quickly and therefore more cost-effectively. As a result, according to the invention, at least one of the fastening points () can move towards the vehicle body () for mounting the windshield wiper device.

The invention relates to a windshield wiper device, in particular for a motor vehicle, with a molded tube () that is connected to the bodywork () and/or a mounting plate that is connected to the bodywork (), which is particularly a mounting plate for a wiper motor. The windshield wiper device is located in a region, which is often an impact zone in a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian. As a result, the components of the windshield wiper device often represent a high risk of injury to pedestrians. The objective of the invention is to improve the windshield wiper device so that the risk of injury to pedestrians is reduced during a collision with the vehicle. In the case of the windshield wiper device in accordance with the invention, the molded tube () and/or the mounting plate are detachably fastened to the bodywork () in accordance with the invention in such a way that the molded tube () and/or the mounting plate can be detached from the bodywork () during a collision with the windshield wiper device.

Windscreen wiper system

A method and a circuit for protecting an electric motor and/or its trigger circuit against overload in the emergency-operation mode in a motor vehicle direct-current fan motor operated by means of pulse width modulation, in which the trigger circuit is designed as an emergency-operation controller, with a microcontroller preceding the motor end stage and with a comparator assembly for detecting overvoltages. Overload protection is assured at elevated battery voltage and at the same time when the emergency-operation controller is activated in response to malfunctions in the normal triggering of the electric motor. To that end, at least one overvoltage threshold (U, U) is defined; when it is exceeded, the power supplied to the motor is reduced or switched off.

Method and circuit arrangement for protecting an electric motor from an overload

The invention is based on a wiper drive having a reversible geared motor, which is secured to a wiper mounting and on whose power takeoff shaft () a motor crank () is seated that is connected via at least one joint () to a lever gear which drives at least one windshield wiper. It is provided that either the motor crank () on the power takeoff shaft () of the geared motor, or a drive element () drivingly connected to the motor crank (), cooperates with stops () that prevent an overswing past the turning points of the windshield wiper.

Wiper drive

A fuel-injection valve, in particular, a high-pressure injection valve, for injecting fuel directly into a combustion chamber of a mixture-compressing internal combustion engine with externally supplied ignition is distinguished by the fact that a guide and seating area formed by three disc-shaped elements is provided at a downstream end of the valve. A swirl element is embedded between a guide element and a valve seat element. The guide element is used to guide a valve needle which passes through it and can move in the axial direction, while a valve closing segment of the valve interacts with a valve seat surface of the valve seat element. The swirl element has an inner opening area with multiple swirl channels. The three disc-shaped elements are permanently connected to each other, forming a positive-locking joint.
