An automobile windshield wiper blade has an elongated belt-shaped, flexible resilient support element, on the lower belt surface which faces the windshield and has an elastic rubber wiper strip extending along the windshield parallel to the longitudinal axis. A wind deflection strip on the upper belt surface has an incident surface facing the direction of driving wind. The deflection strip extends longitudinally, and has two sides that diverge from a common base point as seen in cross section, such that the incident surface is located at one exterior side and the wind deflection strip has a constant cross section along its entire length. The support element has outer edges, and the sides of the wind deflection strip have respective free ends that have respective claw-like extensions that grip the outer edges of the support element, wherein the wind deflection strip can be snapped or slid longitudinally onto the outer edges.

Automobile windshield wiper blade

An automobile windshield wiper blade () having an elongated belt-shaped, flexible resilient support element (), on the lower belt surface () which faces the windshield and has an elastic rubber wiper strip () extending along the windshield parallel to the longitudinal axis. A wind deflection strip (or) on the upper belt surface () has an incident surface (or) facing the direction of driving wind (arrow). A device is proposed which is used to detachably connect a wiper blade () to clean windows, particularly of motor vehicles, to a driven wiper arm () featuring a wiper blade holder (or), whereby the wiper blade () that can be placed on the window () with a long-stretched-out, rubber elastic wiper strip () features a band-like, long-stretched-out elastic supporting element () that is curved in the longitudinal direction over its band surfaces () on whose lower, concave band surface () the wiper strip () is arranged parallel to the longitudinal axis. On the outer convex band surface () of the supporting element () sits a connecting element (), which features two parallel wall surfaces () mat are aligned in a vertical plane on the band surface and extend in the longitudinal direction of the wiper blade and that a pivot pin () projects from each wall surface, whereby the longitudinal axes of the two pivot pins are aligned with one another. An especially simple embodiment of the articulated connection with an integrated connecting device is achieved if an adapter (or) that can move in a pendulum fashion is positioned on the two pivot pins of the connecting element (), and said adapter features means to connect to the wiper blade holder (or) of the wiper arm ().

Device for detachably linking a wiper blade with a wiper arm

A wiper blade that cleans panes, in particular of motor vehicles. The wiper blade () comprises a strip-shaped, elongated, elastically resilient support element (), the lower strip surface of which faces the pane () and is provided with an elongated, elastic wiper strip () running parallel to the longitudinal axis. A wiper blade for cleaning windows of motor vehicles has a support bracket system having retaining claws disposed on claw brackets. The retaining claws grip a head strip of a wiper strip of an elastic material which is fixed longitudinally with a securing body shaped from sheet metal. The securing body is solidly joined to the wiper strip and engages the retaining claw from behind at least with a hook in the form of a snap connection disposed on one wiper arm. The hook is shaped by bending or swaging of the arm and is adjoined in the assembly direction by a guide face.
